okay i would like to apologise for the late review but due to my loss of internet for a while and i was unable to post until now.
the cheerios where a big hit with my son, he has them for breakfast most days, i loved the fact that they were the perfect size to pick up with his fingers and they are good for him, we even went out and brought the honey flavoured ones. they are just as great tasting as the other. they go well with or even without milk and i love the fact that i love to eat them as a snack for myself mid norming or even afternoon tea time.
thank you so much and i know that i will be buying them all the time in the future.

These continue to be a real hit in this house. Its so hard to find a cereal that every one likes and even when we do, half way through the bo the novelty has worn off but every trip to the supermarket one of the kids is grabbing a box of cheerios off the shelf. A favourite is to pour some into a cup and eat them dry - quick and easy snack when on the run to so many after school activities.

Thank you for the Cheerios - both my children aged 8 years and 16 months thoroughly enjoyed them! And even I grabbed a bowl and thought they were delicious aswell - and how great is it that not only do they taste great they are also good for you!. Will definately be adding them to my grocery list now :)

I really enjoyed my Cheerios, especially with some fresh strawberries. Such a pity my peanut allergic son couldn't have them. It would be brilliant if cereal companies could make special yummy cereals for kids with allergies.

Thank you for the Cheerios... My son loved them, but not with milk, he preferred them by themselves as a snack rather than as breakfast. Will probably buy them now I know he like them :) Merry Christmas.

Thanks for the Cheerios, the boys have been getting stuck into it, mind you they like it with a bit of sugar to give it a bit of taste. I'm not so keen but I like my toast in the morning. I think I'll add it to the list of cereals that my two like. Many thanks.
Taz - 9:32 PM on Wed-14-Dec-2011 reply | message
Thank you so much for the box of Cheerios!! Two out of my three children loved them with milk. My third child said they were two sweet. He doesn't like any sweet cereals. We also loved them as a healthy snack. I put them in the kids lunch boxes and they definately were a favourite at school. All their friends wanted them to.
Will definately buy them again!! Thanks Kidspot and Merry Christmas!

Hi, thankyou so much for sending us a box of cheerios... we haven't yet made the delicious christmas trees but we will need to buy another box before that can happen as our box is vanishing BUT NOT as cereal but as a snack... it has been eaten about an hour after brekkie in a bowl while watching cartoons, in the trolley as we do our grocery shopping and from a plastic bag at playcentre.. (also snuffled by other children at the table)... dad wasn't keen but he is a toast and coffee man.. I preferred them with milk myself but eaten before they go too soft... finished work this week so hopefully christmas trees will get made next week and we will post a photo... thanks again uncle toby and kidspot this is the first ever freebe for us soooo very excited... merry christmas everyone :)

Just made the cheerio xmas trees and they look awesome and so easy. I used a medicine cup as a mould sprayed with baking oil and they popped out perfectly. Photo now uploaded

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to trail Cheerios, my boys are not great at breakfast time, but in the past two weeks have been enjoying their Cheerios. I also find them great as a snack when we are going out our youngest (just 2 last week) loves to eat a little container of them while in the buggy. Now have a couple of little airtight containers constantly in the car ready to go!

Hi there - thank you for the opportunity to trial this cereal. I have 3 pre-schoolers who aren't big breakfast eaters. My almost 4 year old is a VERY fussy eater, but he was very enthusiastic about trying Cheerios. He has had them twice (I have to be careful not to offer too often) and has almost finished his bowl both times - which is pretty successful in our house! My 2.5 year old enjoyed them and my 17 month old loved playing with hers and the splashing the milk ;0 I tried them too and was impressed with the pleasant sweet taste and the fact that they have some goodness in them, unlike other kids cereals. I will definitely buy them and would recommend that others try them too.

Thanks for the Cheerios, they were a big hit in our house at both breakfast time and out and about. we have since brought them in the weekley shopping. I love how they are a healthy yet appealing food for my 2 toddlers. However i must say i still stuggle with the name Cheerios i instantly think of cocktail savolys but it wouldnt deter me from buying them.

My boys love these. They ask for seconds and even want them after lunch as a sweettreat instead of biscuits or cake. They filled them up too, which was good and meant they didn't ask for morning tea so soon. I am very happy and would happily buy these for breakfast (or snacks). Thanks.
jessnz90 - 7:38 PM on Wed-7-Dec-2011 reply | message
wow these were great, the box was gone in under two days, yum with or with out milk and a huge hit with all age groups from 2-30 in our house hold. We also had a look at the super market and they are a reasonable price too.
thank you so much, for introducing us to a new healthy alternative at breakfast time.

Last shopping we invested in the bigger box and this has been fantastic. Kids are getting their nutrition and I know it's a healthy snack (with milk) for me when i'm feeling peckish and need something to tide me over until dinner.

My boys enjoyed their Cheerio's!!
I got them to do 4 days of alternating before they went back to what they usually have every morning (weet bix) But they also LOVED Cheerio's as a snack!

I will buy these when I see them on special and I had my niece and nephew over who are a bit older than my boys and they loved them!!!

These were VERY popular in household-- in fact I didn't even get a chance to try them myself as my daughter and husband finished them off so quick!! I was very impressed with the high fibre content-- so many cereals say high fibre and then aren't really, but Cheerios actually were. A 'fun' cereal I have no qualms about feeding to my family! We'll definitely be getting these again.

RaglanMum I love your word play for cherrios and completely agree. Since we have had the pleasure of been choosen for the trail my little miss 2 has been eating breakfast again with little trouble. I will definately put Uncle Tobys Cheerios in our trolley (when we run out) because Miss is liking them so much both for breakfast and for a snack (no milk on). The only thing is like most cereals if left too long and they go soggy she turns her nose up. but then I make her a fresh bowl or give with no milk and she is super happy. Even hubby and I have had some for breakfast and thought it was yummy. Hubby was surprised how good cheerios actually are. Thanks for choosing us to trail we have enjoyed and still are. :)
Mamabear - 3:39 PM on Mon-5-Dec-2011 reply | message
Was hoping to make the Cheerio Christmas trees, but my kids have finished the whole box of Cheerios already! They've loved Cheerios for some time now, for breakfast in the morning with milk or for an after school snack just plain and they can finish heaps like that!! My son sometimes takes them to school as a snack in a zip lock bag and they're also good as a healthy snack in the car. My hubby and I enjoy eating them too, though he is not really a breakfast cereal person! I love that they are not too sweet, very crunchy and don't go soggy instantly after milk has been added. The high fibre content and the fact that they're made from wholegrains packed with vitamins and minerals has made it a regular on our shopping list.
heitiki - 3:02 PM on Mon-5-Dec-2011 reply | message
We were selected to review Cheerios and they get the big THUMBS UP from all four family members. Love that they have 4 different wholegrains in them and are low in sugar. They taste sweeter than 5.3g per 100! My 22 month old finds them easy enough to pick up with her spoon and they are a nice manageable size for her and the 4yo to eat. Husband and I also have them for breakfast, so Cheerios are a great all-round family cereal to have in the cupboard. The kids also like having a small bowl of them, dry, as a snack occasionally.
MaryMc - 11:07 AM on Mon-5-Dec-2011 reply | message
We tried the cheerios this morning.
I liked them without sugar as I felt they were sweet enough - that saves a few calories!
My husband took some to work for a snack in a plastic tub but didn't get time to eat them, so I ate them last night for supper. I didn't put milk on them as I couldn't be bothered to go to the fridge but they were just as delicious without!
I like that they contain 56% wholegrain - BUT they don't have that horrid dry wholegrain taste. Looking at the panel they seem a lot more healthy than I thought they would be. A great breakfast for when the Grandkids come to stay!
I probably would not eat them every day, as I do like variety. I would recommend them though and will definitely be buying some more.

Thanks for the opportunity to try out this product. Not only a cereal - but Mr 19 month loved them as a snack. The day they arrived, my partner ripped into the packet and grabbed a handful... couldn't even wait for the milk!!!. Not sure why exactly but Mr 11 year old wasn't as impressed. He said he liked the coloured O's better - don't even know what they are - he hasn't had them here!! But can imagine!! I am very impressed with how cruchy they are and even with the packet open a few days they have remained crunchy and fresh. I love that they are not overly sweet.
lornamoa - 8:16 PM on Sun-4-Dec-2011 reply | message
My 15 month old really liked them. But I think is a bit too little, as he is needs me to feed them to him and it takes a really long time to feed a bowl of cheerios to someone 1 or 2 at a time! We will try them again when he can use his own spoon.
I quite liked them for a change, but not really fulling enough for me, I need porridge or muesli to keep me full in the mornings. I am impressed that they have the heart tick
raglanmum - 5:52 PM on Sun-4-Dec-2011 reply | message
Yep, definetly enjoyed by Mr 7 in our house! He loves them! We just stocked up on 2 packets for $8 at the Supermarket, along with a free Nestle bowl!

Definitely enjoyed by some in our house. 16 yr old liked them. 12 yr old said they were ok then went straight back to her toast as she is not a good cereal eater. 4yr old loved them and kept on wanting them! I really enjoyed them too - a bit of sweetness without too much and nice flavour. 2 yr old said "I don't like them", and wouldn't even try them- obviously there was something wrong with the look but don't ask me what!
crazymama - 12:15 PM on Sun-4-Dec-2011 reply | message
my 4 and 6 year olds really like the cheerios, I tried a bowl also and when I did, my 4yrold came along and demanded the rest!!! little monkey ;-) Miss 8 however did not like them, which does not surprise me as you could present that child with a fully cooked buffet breakfast and she would still be fussy!!! overall, I liked the fact you dont need to add sugar and they still taste great slightly soggy.will definately buy in the future :)

My kids are asking for more CHEERIO we tried out the christmas tree recipe it was great!
JoCee - 10:17 PM on Sat-3-Dec-2011 reply | message
Very tasty and crunchy, we all liked the crunch of them even when they had been sitting in milk for a while. Nice too that they could be eaten without adding sugar. Makes a nice change from the normal cereal. We enjoyed them most though as a dry snack, feeling a little peckish, grab a handful and enjoy. Cheerios will never be our favourite cereal but it is nice to have something different to add variety.

hi my 7 year old daughter loves this cereal! she cant get enough shes even getting up early just so she can make sure shes got enough time to eat all her brekky a real god send given her normal morning routine which involves her mum nagging her to get ready for school thanks uncle tobys!

We got our box of cheerios on Friday, and tried it on the kids this morning.
Our daughters (aged 2 and 3) really liked it - and both had second helpings, so that's a huge improvement from the 'usual' ricies or cornflakes, as it's much higher in fibre and better for them.
Our second son (aged 4) liked it, and our oldest son (aged 5) really disliked it. He couldn't give a reason - we just couldn't get him to eat it no matter what - so for him, it's back to weetbix, and sadly, we still haven't found that elusive single box of cereal that we can take on holiday and everyone can enjoy.
I am glad though that the girls loved it, as it's a definite improvement for their breakfast.

Thank you for giving us a chance to trial this product. I wasn't sure my kids would like it. But I was glad when they did. It's not very sugary compared to other cereals. It also retains their crunchiness. This is a great addition to their breakfast. Thanks

Thanks for letting us trial Cheerios, my son loved opening the package in the mail! My husband loved the crunchy texture and both my young boys ate their whole bowls each day for the week! I found that they were not too sweet like a lot of other cereals. We will definitely be buying them, my son is already pointing them out in the supermarket.

Glenys - 11:10 PM on Fri-2-Dec-2011 reply | message
Wow, both Grandchildren enjoyed these, they did not go soggy from the milk and needed no added sugar. My husband thought they were a wee bit bland for his liking. I enjoyed them and did not think they were bland! although, as I am diabetic the 18.5 gms sugar per 100 gm is over the recommended level of 15 gms per 100 gms recommended, but is still alot lower than many other cereals! Would definately recommend cheerios as a good healthy breakfast or snack for children and adults.

Absolutely LOVE these little circles of deliciousness! Lochie is 15 months old, and if he doesn't like something, he won't eat it. The stains on my carpets are a testimony to that. Cheerios arrived in our household recently and since then not one has hit the floor.
Even my partner Shayne likes them, as do I. Being pregnant I like to snack, and I enjoy them dry straight out of the packet. Much healthier than potato chips or chocolate! Shayne and Lochie have them with milk. Either way they are very more-ish!. I also like that I can put them into a ziplock bag for Lochies snacks at daycare- and since they are healthy I don't feel like I am giving my child junk food. Since the trial pack arrived we have gone through three boxes. Its a hit in our house.
Its not often you can find a cereal which is not only tasty, but light, healthy and always crispy-crunchy good! I have also tried combining CHEERIOS with other Uncle Tobys breakfast cereals, and its fantastic!
I will definitely be buying this product again, knowing that my family enjoys it, and its good for us as part of our daily diet.

My 7 year old was very excited when these arrived (albeit in a rather squashed box) - she has had them before, but they're usually out of our price range so to get a whole box for free was a massive bonus! I had planned on trying the Christmas tree recipe with them, but they arrived the day before my daughter's sleepover birthday party - needless to say, the majority of the box went at breakfast following the so called sleeping, devoured by 6 hungry girls! They had a great time 'making jewellery' out of them and threading them on straws, then eating them - only one wanted milk with them. Personally, I find them to sweet and not substantial enough, but they are a convenient snack to pop in bags and they seem to stay crunchy for ages and don't crumble easily. Thankyou heaps for the trial - I will have to buy a box now, as I really want to try that recipe!

These were a huge hit with myself, my husband and my 1yr old. Sadly my 3yr was being a fussy wee bugger and wouldn't try them. I found they had just the right amount of sweetness to them that I didn't need to add sugar to them (I have a sweet tooth) and my 1yr old loved them as a dry snack as well as with milk. They will def. become a regular item on our shopping list, makes a great change from weetbix and porridge. Thanks for the chance to review them.

Well in the words of my four year old son. " these are yum mum!!!" then its quiet until all are finished. Ive tried them to and they are good, not my faviourite but very nice still. Im all for it if my son likes them and they are good for him to then they'll be added to our shopping list for sure. Thanks for letting us try them.

Cheerios are soooo yummy, we all think so! I'm happy to give my wee boy of 22 months something so tasty for breakfast that is not too sweet. He really enjoys them as a snack during the day and i have been loving them too. I have them with rolled oats to fill me up more and really love that their flavour can still be tasted even with the oats. Thanks so much for the opportunity to trial.

Thanks Kidspot for the opportunity to trial the Cheerios. My four year old son is very fussy with his eating especially when it comes to Breakfast. My son has had the Cheerios a few times since we received them - the first time just by themselves (no milk, as per my son's request) but the subsequent times with milk warmed up. I was pleasantly surprised that my son ate the Cheerios since he is so fussy and rapt that he now has another viable option for breakfast. I definitely see this product as being something that we would purchase in the future given that my son likes the product and that it has some great nutritional benefits. Thanks once again!

Thank you so much for choosing us to try the Cherios! My kids have almost devoured the whole box already!! Zac - whos is almost 2 and not really talking yet - gets up and says "peaassss" while pointing at the pantry. Its the Cherios he is after every time! Natalie - miss 5 - is a very fussy breakfast eater and she loves them too! I think its the shape that got her hooked initially and now she wants them everyday too. This is def on the shopping list this week! :) Thanks again guys!

We tried these last time and they were a great hit - the kids have had them ever since! What I do love about them is that the sugar content of the cereal actually ends up being less. My kids will only eat weetbix with atleast 1 tsp of sugar on it which makes that a higher sugar cereal than Cheerios which I found really interesting. Great product and our entire family just love them.

Thanks Kidspot. These went down really well in our house, both the boys love them and the oldest one has them after school as well. The little one likes them without milk though. We don't need to add sugar and I think they are pretty healthy compared to alot of other cereals on the market. Kids also like the box and all of the colours. All in all, I think they are great and will definately buy them again.

These weren't a great hit in our house. Way too sweet for Mum and Dad, and even my 4yo said they were too sweet.
The littlest does like them without milk (like lollies) but not with.
I seem to remember that the guidance on the KidSpot website about breakfast cereal for kids was that it should contain no more than 10g sugar per 100g (about 10%). Cheerios contain 17.8g sugar per 100g...So good for an occasional treat maybe.

The good news about the cereal is that it did not turn my kids into crazy hyper monsters and after reading the good things on the package I was quite excited. The bad news is that my children only ate one bowl which they said was nice and after that would not eat it again. So no good for us.

We all liked the creal. It stayed crispy in milk and didn't need added sugar. I'd recommend it to others!

My little one thoroughly enjoyed his Cheerios. He is used to porridge for breakfast, so they were quite a novelty. I am quite fussy as to what I feed my child, and wouldn't normally give him ready made cereals due to all the sugar and unnecessary extras. However I was pleasantly surprised that the box of Cheerios was pretty good. Of course there was some sugar so I wouldn't give them to him every day, but that was mostly the extent of it. My son liked them best on their own without milk, and they have been great distractions when out and about.

Thank You Kidspot. The box of Cheerio's arrived and was opened the very next day. we are a family of Cheerio lovers anyway so this trail was a bonus. My family has these for breakfast and we also pack this up as snack packs when we out n about. The taste is just rightly balanced for the kids to enjoy without much hassle. I love Cheerio anytime over beans of toast.

Well the box of Cheerio's we received the other day has been well and truly devoured by my kids!! Even my fussy two year old is loving them - I can tell he is enjoying them as as he is eating them he's doing the 'yum, yum, yum' while chewing - a clear sign he's enjoying what he's eating!!! They are now big fans of Cheerio's and enjoy them with milk or just by themselves for a snack. Cheerio's get the thumbs up from us and we will be buying them in future to have as another cereal option in the cupboard for breakfast! Thanks Kidspot for the opportunity to trial Cheerio's.

We received our Cheerio's last week, I opened the box and thought now these don't look that exciting, are my babes Reece (5) and Bailee (3) going to eat these. As soon as they saw the shape they begged for their bowls to be filled to the brim and I watched eagerly expecting them to say they don't want them, but they were gone in an instant. They even wanted there bowls refilled and this continued until we were all out. They have now been added to our shopping list by request and the kids are begging me to take them shopping. Thanks Uncle Toby's and Kidspot for letting us trial the Cheerios!!!

Well, I received my Cheerio packet last week, and it has been so popular that I have had to buy more. No hesitation, when asked what they wanted for breakfast. So convenient, so tasty and delicious. This, I would recommend to any Mum, who hears"what different do we have to eat- I am sick of all the other cereals" Go Cheerios for such a wholesome cereal.
TraceyF - 9:20 AM on Wed-30-Nov-2011 reply | message
My 2 children and I have tried these. We are all big breakfast eaters. For me I am not a big cereal person mostly because it doesn't seem to fill me up enough and I would have to say that Cheerios are no different. I had them this morning at about 7.30 and was hungry by 9am, also I found them quite sweet initially although that did fade as i ate them. My nearly 11 year old son who normally has 2 bowls of weetbix and cornfalkes mixed said that he felt hungry after having a bowl of Cheerios then a bowl of weetbix which normally his breakfast would sustain him till morning tea time. My daughter (7) really liked them and they seem to be ok for her, she doesn't have a big breakfast like her brother normally. I wasn't too happy with the amount of sugar in the cereal either. I certainly wouldn't let my children have this every day but might buy it as a treat every now and then.

Thanks for letting us trial these, My son and myself loved these, although he preferred them before I put the milk in, My husband on the other hand wasn't too fond, He thought they were too bland but that's because he has a real sweet tooth. I thought they were a nice energizing treat to begin the day with, nice with and without milk, would make a great lunch box treat. Will definitely buy these in the future :)

My children, 2 and 3 LOVE LOVE LOVED these, my 3 year old had two bowls and slirpped the milk out of both of them at the end, my 2 year old munched his down and tried to copy his sister with the milk? (even hubby took some to work, got his approval too!) I like that they're good for them and that they're having a good meal to start their day, in fact - they seem alot more active and loud the past 2 mornings? haha. They love them, definitely something i'd buy for them again.

Love Love Cheerios, great with yoghurt for breakfast or fruit as the cereal flavour doesnt overpower anything else you want to put with them, also great as a quick snack by themselves instead of a bag of chips - much healthier! My husband also tried them and thought they were great and he has been eating porridge the last few years - so thats a win!

I love these Cheerios. They are nice and crunchy and taste nice. 19 month old liked them when they are from my bowl and off my spoon but not so keen when I gave him his own bowl, however, he did like them better in his own bowl without any milk on (strange child). My 3 1/2 year old is just plain fussy and just doesn't want to try them. My husbands thinks they are nice.
I would definitely buy them again. I'll keep trying with the kids.
Not too fattening which is a good thing.

Thanks again for a great product

Cherrios have been and gone, and with four boys they were eaten in one sitting. The boys thought it was such a treat to get them, as I dont normally buy cerial like this due to the price and the sugar content. I did notice on the label that they are using the full names of ingredients rather than there E numbers- I hope they are not trying to hide anything from the consumers.

He had two helpings and then asked for them again at lunchtime. The "steering wheels" are going down great, he likes them with milk or dry out an about as a snack. Thank you for letting us try these - it gives me something else Master Fussy will eat and loves. I love the fact that they are healthy, tasty and we can all enjoy them.

At least there is one healthy thing he will eat happily lol.

My daughter loves Cheerios. And they have great nutrional benefits - high in fibre, iron and calcium, and they main benefit for me is that they don't contain as much sugar as other cereals. My daugher loves the taste, and also has them as an afternoon snack - rather than haviing potato chips!

No complaints about not getting his chocolate flavoured cereal (that I am trying to replace). Little miss 2 ate half her bowl full (as usual) and said that they were yummy. I even had a bowl for brekkie this morning. I dont normally eat cereal but i found these to be really tasty. Just the right amount of sweetness. A good opportunity to get some fibre in my diet. I will try them as a snack for the kids too.

My husband, my brother, and two of my daughters (aged 7 and 2) wolfed it down, and from all reports loved it. The only complaint was that there was not enough in the box. I may have to buy it myself now, and see what it tastes like! :o)

We received the Cheerios last Thurday, and the box is now empty!! I was very keen to try these as I normally don't like to eat cereals because I find them too sweet or too dry (I have never been able to drink milk).
I think that the Cheerios are very tasty, crunchy and not overly sweet, and I love the fact that it uses 4 different wholegrains. Because I am breastfeeding, I'm always looking for healthy snacks to have between main meals, and the Cheerios are definitely going to be on my list from now on.
I also gave some to my baby who has just started to eat cereals, I used them in a mushy porridge and he ate it all! Even my husband saw the box and had some for breakfast, he enjoyed them and asked me to buy them again as an alternative to muesli.
So all in all a great success in our household, and Cheerios are on my next shopping list. Thank you very much for the opportunity to trial these!

I also plan to make the cheerios xmas trees, that you had last week as a recipe. Thanks for picking us.

Our Cheerios arrived on Friday so they made a great weekend treat breakfast - a welcome change from cornflakes and weetbix. They weren't sugar laden - which i had expected - so that was great! I had no qualms feeding them to my 15 month old daughter. She loved them and made her appreciating food noises quite merrily! They were abit crunchy for her 5 teeth, but because they were quite small she managed really well. A good transition from soggy to crunchy cereal for her. Hubby and i enjoyed them too. Cheerios - what a hit!

The box arrived and my 2 kids aged 3 & 5 promptly got themselves a bowl and sat down for an after school snack.

As already mentioned by others elbow - they are sweet tasting without being full of sugar. Made with wholegrains is also a bonus. Even a small bowlful seems to render my 2 kids full, so they have energy too.

We have had them for breakfast as a cereal with fruit and milk, but both kids have also taken then to Playcentre and school as a dry cereal as well.

I think the kids find them appealing because of their shape. So thanks Kidspot & Uncle Toby's.

Personally i find them a little bit tasteless, but very filling, filled me up much more than our usual cornflakes or ricies. I also love that they are very crunchy, but my girl enjoyed them more after they softened a bit in the milk. Probably would buy it for a change now and again, but not for every day.

Mr 4 is a very picky/fussy eater who normally doesnt try anything new. We told him they were a special present and he had to try them straight away and had 3/4 mouthfuls. This was a success in our eyes. He had them again today and wanted to buy more when we were at the supermarket. So far so good. As he hasnt eaten or wanted to try any other cereal for a couple of years they much have been tasty. His dad gave them the ok tick - he eats them straight from the box. Mr 4 did say he thought they were good cos they are a healthy choice. thanks kidspot 4 the sample as i do hesitate to buy new products when in the past they have sat and no one ate them.

my 6 yr old daughter said, "cheerios has no taste," and yet she goes on saying, "corn, wheat, oats and rice are my favourites!" she's been having them for 2 days now (we got the cereals last Saturday) and she feels good eating them because it has a heart tick so its good for her. she compromised the taste with the health-benefit. her 11 yr brother also said that it has no taste yet he's been eating them because he feels less guilty putting chocolate drink instead of milk in his cereals. i, as a mother, prefer the bland taste of cheerios bec my kids can add fruits or chocolate drink for flavour. i do not have to worry about too much sweet that goes in their diet. their dad gives it the thumbs-up for breakfast and even snacks. thank you for letting us sample the product.

Sad to say these weren't a hit in our house. Initially DS who is nearly 4 said he liked him, this was eating them dry but once we put them in his bowl as a cereal with milk he faffed around and took forever to eat them. The next day he specifically asked not to have them and to go back to his weetbix & fruit! I thought they were ok, still a lot sweeter than I had anticipated so I think had DS liked them I would have used them as a once & a while cereal rather than a daily. Thanks for letting us try them! I'm going to get creative in how to use the rest of the packet. Think they might make good honey crackles or something like that! Will let you know :)

Its great that they have no artificial Colours or flavours. in them.thanks again

Yum yum. Thanks for letting us try Cheerios. We all love them. I'm not a fan of the really sweet cereals out there but in saying that, the kids don't really like the plain options such as puffed rice and cornflakes, so it's difficult to find something in between - until now. I think the shape of them also makes them more interesting to children and I'm interested in all the facts such as 4 wholegrains, high fibre and no artificial colours of flavours! Thanks Kidspot and Uncle Tobys.

My kids loved, loved loved these. We all devoured half the box in one day. The kids prefer them dry and that's good as I put a handful into their lunch boxes. I will defiantly be buying again! But I do have a suggestion, one of my three kids has a slight gluten intolerance so if you could make this cereal gluten free would be great for the whole family! I was impressed with the size of the box and very happy with the taste. Thank you Kid Spot and Uncle Tobys!

Wow, so excited! We got an email on the 23rd saying we were selected. Sophie has checked the letterbox with great excitement everyday waiting for her sausages to arrive - little does she know it's a cereal. We have printed out the christmas tree recipe and will definitely be giving this a try and taking to coffee group for the real taste test.. will let you know how we go...

Unfortunately i am sad to report that im the only one that like these. My kids arent keen on them at all, they think they resemble cat biscuits and said theyd rather have weetbix. Strange coming from my 2 noodles as they normally eat almost anything. Thank you for the sample anyway...... at least there'l be more for me :)

Cherrios arrived this morning. My fussy 2 year turned thought they were pretty good dry and tried to feed everyone else some too. If he continues to enjoy them I will definelty buy them again. They got a thumbs up from everyone except my hubby who prefers his good old weetbix.

Thanks so much for choosing us, We got this this morning just in time for breakfast, my little girl wanted it without milk and loved it, she went back for seconds and my big boy wanted some with milk and also loved it going back for seconds. I tried it and it had a taste of wholegrain but also a taste of sugary cereal, not really my favourite taste so I will stick to my porridge or poached eggs on toast but I think my children will be pestering me to buy more once this box runs out.

The husband was the first taster this morning just after his gym workout. He thought it tasted good, really filling and not sweet. I'm quite pregnant and had a small bowl for my first round of lunch time. It tasted healthy but not gross! Like that it isn't too sweet, so will indulge in some more when I wake for a snack in the middle of the night! I thought it had a good flavour and liked the texture. The ultimate test was baby's lunchtime. He's 15 months old and I put some on his highchair tray. He ate the rings one by one and I had to top up his supply three times before he started throwing them on the floor! A great food to get his fine motor skills working, he obviously liked it cos he kept going for sometime, and it was a great way for me to get a few things done! Would definately recommend it - especially as a healthy snack alternative for toddlers. Thanks for choosing us!

My sample arrived just in time for breakfast, hubby and I enjoyed them, they were a nice change, very crunchy, but i found them rather tasteless, only tasting the sweetness of them, daughter enjoyed them as a snack without milk rather than breakfast, and was a much healthier alternative than chips, all in all i would recommend them for a change, but not as my preferred choice, i will be sticking with my weetbix and fruit, but i did like the fact they were nice and crunchy and filling

My Cheerios arrived today. My very fussy boys liked them and it's hard to find a healthy cereal that they will eat mr 6 like them just with milk but mr 2 loved them with or without. Not only are they great for breakfast but I also gave them to mr 2 as a snack for when he got a bit hungry after dinner and he thought they were lollies. I also like them and I'm pretty fussy when it comes to cereal I don't eat most types. they were sweet and like most mums you dont get to eat a full meal all in one go with busy kids they didn't get too soggy even when I left them for a while ( I hate soggy cereal ) so all in all I liked them alot and will be buying them again. Thank you for the chance to try them out.

Well our parcel arrived yesterday and the box of Cheerois has been demolished! The two little ones ate them as a snack dry and came back for seconds. My 9 year old came home from school and had to try them straight away as did my 14 year old. Both had them with milk, with no complaints. By the time breakfast was over this morning the box was gone. So a hit with all four children and they would def eat it so i guess it will be on our next shopping list!! I have a cold so cant taste much at the moment so cant give my thoughts unfortunately but the kids loved them and thats what counts, plus you dont need to add sugar which is a bonus. (My kids usually try to put sugar on most cereal.) Great they have the Heart Foundation Tick. A great breakfast cereal.

What a nice surprise we received our parcel today, thank you. Little person has been into them eating them dry which I have to say they are yummy. I think a bowl for breakfast might be a bit to much as they are quite sweet. But as a snack they are a go :)

Just came home to find a parcel on my doorstep, opened it up to find a box of Cheerios, which my son 3 year old insisted was opened, and some have already been eaten dry, which he says are "Yummy, I will have them for breakfast tomorrow, don't let Daddy eat them all"

So thats our first review Yummy when dry I can only hope that he will ehjoy them as much with milk.

i would love to trial CHEERIOS My three, (5 years, 3 years, and one and a half) are looking for a replacement cereal. We have been eating porriage over the winter and its time for a change. Most recently I bought Corn Scoops, by Fields but they are only a hit with my oldest and I'm sure it is mostly because she likes the tiger on the box! Always looking for a new cereal that everyone will like. I hate having my cupboard filled up with half eaten cereals! I remember reading that Cheerios were the healthiest option in the Consumer!

I love keeping my son's meal times interesting and Cheerio's would offer a different texture and shape while also being healthy. I'm always a little nervous buying cereals as I know they are loaded with additives so it would be good to try one that is 'nurtitious' as a possible option I can add to my weekly shop!

I have two preschoolers who aren't keen on milk but love cereal so this is one way I can get them to eat/drink it with gusto! Always looking for different cereals to try that do offer health benefits (such as the 4 different wholegrains in Cheerios), so yes please! Am sure Mum and Dad would also offer their opinion too!

I brought so many different types of cereals for my kids to try and so far they have not liked any of it! Have gone past Cheerios but never thought of buying it I thought it might be too sweet. cause of the colours of it or maybe the package on outside didnt seems to grab my attention but has with my 8 year old who kept on telling me to buy it! yes please I will trial to see if it does suit my fussy kids. so far they only eating buds weetbix is a bit dry for them has to put heaps of milk.

I have been reluctant to buy these only because i've bought cereal in the past and then ended up being the only one who eats them. Would like to review these and see how well they go down in the family

The wholegrains sound great as my daughter is not a big bread eater and my son is not a big calcium consumer so a tasty and healthy cereal with milk every morning would be ideal. Cheerios look like they would make a great lunchbox snack too.

I'd love my boys' and daughter to try Cheerios 4 Wholegrains as the boys' seem to eat so much weetbix for breakfast and supper that it would make a change. My daughter is a very fussy eater, but I sit her down for breakfast and she has to eat something. I'd like her to try these Cheerios 4 Wholegrains as she could just have them poured into a bowl or mug without milk and pick at them! At least it gets something into her. I like the idea of 4 different wholegrains: corn, oats, rice, wheat with the goodness of calcium and iron.

Yes - would love to review them. I'm not too keen on other high sugar cereals... but my 11yo is bored of cornflakes and weetbix. Poor child... lol. Would be good to have something the whole family (1yo, 11yo and adults) would enjoy.

I would like to try these for myself as I am diabetic and as they are not packed full of sugar they may be helpful for keeping my sugar levels low :)

With 3 kids in the house that all love their cereal we would make great testers of this!!!

I would love for my family to trial these, we are pushing the breakfast at the moment trying to get the girls into more of a routine so having something nice for them would certainly help! Thanks mumsay and uncle tobys :)

Oh yes please! We haven't tried these as yet and they seem like a great cereal option to give my little girl, we have been running out of breakfast variations!

I would like to try these for myself. I don't think my peanut allergic son would be allowed these but I know I would love something different to toast for breakfast.

Would love to try them, we are big cereal eaters in our household so like trying new breadfast foods.

I would love to trail Cheerios, the best kickstart to the day is a healthy breakfast. Would love to encourage my littlies to always eat and enjoy their breakie

I would like to give these a go. I think the shape alone is fun for a child. Mine will only eat one type of cereal so this would be a welcome change
