A 2 year old's Blog
Posted 3:09 PM on Sun-1-Jul-2012

My two year old asked me the other day if he could check his blog, I was busy hanging out the washing so I said "Sure, go ahead" thinking he would just go back inside and play, I walk back inside to find him sitting at the table with Daddy's Ipad, trying to unlock it so he could in his words "check my blog mummy"

So after this I decided I would start a blog for him of some of the comments he comes out with.

Yesterday, driving back to Waiheke we passed a barn in a paddock, "look Mummy there is a fire engine",

"Where" I replied,

"On top of the barn Mummy",

"How did it get there?" I asked

"It climbed up there of course silly Mummy."

Sorry, Mummy didn't know fire engines climbed buildings.

I love the jar idea! It's great such a simple idea that will be easy to follow through with :)

Awesome idea, my Mum kept a book for a while anyway of all the little gems I came out with as a toddler and I am trying to do the same, I read somewhere another good idea is to have a jar (like a suggestion box I guess) and you write the little gems on a piece of paper and you and your partner have a night every 6 months or so reminiscing all the goodies in the jar.

What a great idea Cazza. You will have a record of these wonderful things. I wish I had done something like that as I have forgotten so many of these moments.
