I took my 10 year old and six of his mates to McDs for his birthday tea and they were playing in the playground afterwards. After a while a mother walks out of the playground with her three girls and told the staff that there were some unruly boys creating havoc and she had to remove her children. I told the staff I would deal with it, which they seemed grateful for. I just told them to calm it down.

When I went back in a few minutes later they said they didn't know what the problem was as they had stuck to "the lady's rules". I'm sorry, her what?! Yes, she gave them rules - no running, no loud noise, no going up the slide ... These boys are by no stretch of the imagination rude, aggressive or disrespectful. They are intelligent, community-minded kids who would never dare to upset a little kid. Some people just need to chill out!

Kids are kids - they are noisy, they run around and they have fun ... when allowed to!

Sounds like she seriously needs to take a chill pill!!! A playground is somewhere I take my kids to run around and to lose some of their energy. Not somewhere where they still feel the need to use their inside voices or to tip toe around. Although they still need to be respectful of others, which it sounds like your boys were!!!

Um... what! That lady needs a serious chill pill. No running and no loud noise? come on! its a playground! and no going up the slide.... thats what kids do! honestly, some people. At what point were the children allowed to have some fun?

Sorry... she did what!? Julie, that would've made me see red for soooooo many reasons, for a start, its playground, so take your kids away if you don't want them mixing with other children who are noisy! No going up the slide!? Seriously lady, take your kids and go home then!!!! I do not react well to my kids being treated unfairly which is what that was... unfair... silly cow!
