Another midwife appointment

Well i had my appointment with the new midwife today, i'm not entirely sure that i like her she seemed a bit scatty and a bit bossy but we'll see how things go, at the moment shes my only chance for a waterbirth so i hope i warm to her.I was really worried about getting there on the bus and getting home again, but i managed it all just fine and with little walking.The appointment was at the unit where i will be birthing so in the waiting room we could see visitors going in with presents and gift baskets, LO asked "is it someones birthday?" so i explained to her that this is the place where babies are born and people were going to visit the newborn babies and their mummies and that i might stay there for a little while after her new sibling is born. Yes essentially it IS someones birthday! awww so sweet.I heard the heartbeat again and this time recorded it on my phone so that DP can hear it when he comes home. and this time i came away with 2 forms for scans which i need to go and sort out tomorrow plus one for a test but i'm not entirely sure what that is...think its another blood test. So thats it for now and next appointment is in a month!
