We are purchasing these instead of the non wholemeal ones now .no one has noticed any difference, we still all like them . We have tried both flavours now. Great Product

We got to try the chicken flavoured Maggi "Extra Delicious" noodles and everyone loved them in our house!!! Quick and easy to prepare, very tasty even by themselves and a great product to use at dinner time if you are running late and need something fast to prepare with a can of tuna and some mixed veggies- -easy meal idea!! Will definitely buy again!!!

We were lucky enough to get to trial these and they were a big hit in my family!! My 12 year old asks for them constantly and they are a great snack after sport and my two year old son just loves them! Being a fussy wee eater these are perfect as they are quick and easy for me to make and I know he won't say no to them. Adding a few of his favourite veggies is a great way to make them extra healthy as well :) Thanks so much for the opportunity will definately be getting some more.

We've had them a few times now, and the kids really enjoy them. I've also mixed them with a bit of tuna etc, and we all enjoy a nice quick and easy lunch. Thanks Maggi :)

Apologies for taking so long to add my review of the Beef flavoured Maggi "Extra Delicious" noodles (with hidden wholegrains).
We found the noodles to be delicious. They are Ideal for a light lunch with a can of Tuna tossed thru it or on its own or to use as a side to many dishes.
Because of the "hidden" wholegrains it is better for Diabetics as it is low GI.

I have a bad feeling that I didn't write my review on this earlier when we had them? With so many comments to go thru I thought I was probably quicker to just write another one! These were really awesome, kids loved them and as there are 5 in our family we had one each. My husband in a big noodle fan and he had his plain and scoft them up and said they were just as tasty as regular noodles. The kids and I added some chopped up tomato and cheese to ours and had them for lunch and all of us wanted more they were so tasty! Great work Maggi, you did well and we will be eating them in future xo

Our family tried the chicken flavoured Maggi "Extra Delicious" noodles (with hidden wholegrains). These are definitely the noodles we will be buying from now on!

We tried them on their own and we all really enjoyed them - so great as a quick and easy snack or light meal. We also tried the noodle fritter recipe and loved them! Really delicious dipped in BBQ or sweet chilli sauce. :) (My reccommendation: Smaller fritters cook better). We also made a quick & easy one-pan chicken stir-fry with chicken breast peices & fresh chopped vegies. So quick to whip up a healthy family meal!

Noodles have always been convenient, but not very healthy. I need to have a very low fat diet due to health reasons, so sadly we had to give up having noodles. But these Maggi "Extra delicious" noodles are 99% fat free! So now my family can enjoy noodles again, thanks Maggi! Plus with the hidden wholegrains they're even better for us so they're the perfect guilt-free convenient snack or meal.

Sorry for the late reply. I only just got the link in one of the newsletter emails you guys sent out. I had lost the link.

The noddles were very yummy and the whole family got one packet each and said they really enjoyed it and prefer it from the original normal noodles.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to being able to taste test things in the future.

Ok, sooo sorry for the late review!
We loved these noodles! Well, not me so much as im not really a noodle fan, but i defiantely enjoyed them more than 'normal' noodles.
My children however really really enjoyed these noodles, and i have since purchased more. My 14 year old was really keen to try them until she read wholegrain on the packed. she took some convincing to try them. in the end we ran out of 'normal' noodles so she tried them.... guess who likes them! funny! :P
My other girls really enjoyed them too.
We tried to chicken. thanks heaps for choosing us! yummy yummy yummy :) I'll be stocking up when they are on special!

At last I have been able to access this site have tried for several weeks. We trialled the Chicken ones and my 3 year old daughter loved them and asked for more. I liked them too. We would definitely buy these when they are on a special as I go for the cheapest variety.

The kids finished the last packet of these last night, we got the chicken flavour to try. They loved the fact that the wholegrain was hidden, like their own little secret. Usually for price reasons we go for other brands, but we would look to buy these if on special. They enjoyed the flavour

Sorry about the terribly late review!! My family loves noodles, so we tried these together and we all liked them. We got the chicken flavour to try. We couldn't really tell much difference from the regular noodles apart from the appearance and texture. We all like a little liquid left behind in the noodles while cooking, and found that after cooking these noodles, the taste runs through and coats the noodles, rather than stays behind in the "soup" at the bottom. The fact that the kids loved them and that they're 99% fat free means we will definitely be buying them again. Thanks Kidspot and Maggi!

We received the chicken flavoured noodles. I have never been such a big lover of noodles, I eat it occasionally. But the rest of my family can eat noodles every day, and they really cleaned the plates after I easily prepared this pack of noodles. They commented that noodles are not that soggy as usual (although this could be my overcooking sometimes), they have nicer flavour and even that thay looked better on the plate. I haven't told them that they actually are bettter for you than the other brands but no matter what, I think from now on .... we will stick to these. Thank you.

We had moved house and these arrived via my mum perfect timing when we had food all packed away. We were sent the beef flavour. I love the fact they have the invisible wholegrains in them. They seemed not to be as soggy as the other noodles we cook up which was great. DD aged 8 didn't think they had as much flavour in the noodle itself compared to the ones we usually have, dd #2 and ds loved them and ate them all up. We are going to try the chicken flavour next to see if the flavour "sticks" a little more for DD#1 but a big thumbs up to Maggi from my other 2 and me :)

We trialled the chicken flavour.

Disappointed as to how long it took for the product to be sent out.

Personally, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy them. They have a completely different texture compared to the rest of the range and they got rather mushy too. My son was a little funny eating them. He had some of it but then left it, and he's generally not fussy with food at all.

Thought they would have a good nutritional value but disappointed with the salt content. Not much point advertising something as healthy if you drown it with something else.

We tried the chicken noodles.
Honestly I thought they were horrible tasting but I have never really liked chicken flavour so I gave them to my 2 year old son who LOVES his "noonles" he also wasnt a fan he had a few mouth fulls but left most on his plate, so hubby took them to work and loves them! I found them to be very mushy also and agree the salt content was a bit to high for my liking. so its a 1 out of 3 from my family

We reviewed the chicken flavour.
They tasted great and looked yummy but we found the consistancy to be more mushy then what we like so over all were not a huge fan. I think we will stick to the original in the future.

To be honest it has been years since I had any sort of instant noodles so I didnt really have any comparison. So I thought they were OK, I wouldn't rave about them but they are a quick snack when you have no time (which we Mum's no all about).
I wasn't impressed with how much salt was in them but I guess that is where all the taste comes from.
When giving these to my daughter I have only put on half of the flavouring as I think that is just too much salt to give her, she ate them all right :)
I would definitely use these to add to dinners too - ie stir fry etc.
I would recommend but advise to watcht the salt levels.

We received the beef noodles -

As said - the colour did seem different, personally i prefer my noodles quite soft, not hard - and i put them in the microwave for a wee bit longer - but found they didn't really go as soft as i'd liked - but hubby liked them, kids liked them and not to say i wouldn't have them again, i think they're definitely a more healthier change.

Sorry for the delayed reply, the Chicken flavoured noodles arrived after we had gone away for a family school holiday break, so we didn't try them until now.

Once again our family had mixed results.***
Master 2 still anti noodles (he's currently anti-food in general)***
Hubby didn't like them, he still prefers another brand***
Me being Gluten Free I tested on observation, man they are really YELLOW!! they looked artificial to me, but once I read the ingredients I realised that the yellow appearance must be due to Tumeric***
BUT master 5 (nearly 6 he points out) LOOOVVEES them, this was a surprise as he only eats beef flavoured noodles, but he was happy with the chicken, so that's a pass for me as he's the major noodle eater, infact he takes a food flask with noodles for school, so I'll be buying them purely for him

We received the chicken flavour and they were scrumptious! my two boys were so excited to have noodles for lunch. The color of the noodles were different to the usual non-wholegrain style, but only noticible if you knew - my kids and hubby didnt know the difference. The flavor was great and quickly asorbed through the entire noodle casing. The fact that they take only 2 minutes in the microwave is an added bonus when you have hungry hungry toddlers!! I feel satisfied and confident in providing these noodles for my children, given the fact that they are wholegrain, baked and not fried and are extra delicious. The texture of the noodles were great, and I would definately buy them - in fact they have been added to the shopping list by my husband!! Thanks maggi, not only have you cured my toddlers hungryness but my husbands to ;-) Great product and hit the spot 100%

We got the chicken flavour, we didn't like it, it tasted false and it took ages for the noodles to get soft, had a funny after taste - would definitely not buy them

We got the beef flavoured noodles, and we opened another packet of a different brand as well. You could clearly see the difference in colour, the Maggi noodles looked like a more natural product. You couldnt tell these were wholegrain noodles by looking at them. My kids loved them, and had no complaints at all. They even said they were tastier than the normal ones. My kids are noodle mad and i do try and limit how much the little ones eat, due to them not being a healthy snack, but my 15 year old eats them alot!! These wholegrain noodles were a hit!
The kids said they had great flavour and texture and would def eat them again.

Thanks for the chance to review these.

I made a 'noodle omelette' for my lunch last week.
I really wanted to try these, due to the 'invisible' wholegrain as I don't usually like stuff if it's 'brown'!
I was pleasantly surprised to find that I actually liked the taste. The texture was good for the omelette too.
I would like to see the sodium content reduced, but otherwise I'd be happy happy to eat these once a week or so.
I'd buy them, depending on the price of course and would recommend them as an occasional treat.

We got the beef flavoured noodles - I served them up to my daughter without telling her what they were and she lapped them up no problems at all!! What an awesome way to hide all the goodness!!. I even sent a pack with my partner to work and he also thought they were delish :) Thanks!!! Would recommend them to all

These were deemed (by my Mr. 12yo masterchef in the making - or at least he thinks he's a judge in one) to be much nicer than the previous recipes, And he says they are more moist too. All gone in a matter of days for this growing boy. They will definitely be on the shopping list as a replacement to the previous version of noodles. :)

I got these to try for my 2 year old (who really liked them) but I was quite surprised that I really did too! The beef flavour we got isn't too strong and over powering (which I like). They are of course super quick to make and I like the bits that make them a bit healthier (wholegrain and baked, not fried). A good thing to have in the cupboard for emergency need now meals. My favourite way to eat them is with a couple of big slices of bread smothered in butter and make sandwiches, the butter melts and its great (naughty but great!!!!)

My 6yr old son and 22month old daughter tried these the other night and totally wolfed them down! Really quick and easy to make for a meal in a rush. My daughter obviously loved them as when we were at the supermarket yesterday she rushed up to the shelf and grabbed some and put them in the trolley. We don't usually buy them but we will from now on. I like the fact that they are whole grain too for nutritional benefits. Overall would definately recommend to anyone considering using these.

I apologise for my tardiness. Was going to ask my grand-daughter to try however due to flu, lack of funds for petrol and a husband who cannot drive for 3 months - that idea didn't eventuate. The wee lass from next door (aged 8) volunteered to 'stand in'. She declared them to be yum and - clever girl - said if they were wholemeal why weren't they brown! I have tried them myself and would buy again both for myself and grand-children. For me they had a slightly 'gluey' taste which probably could be eliminated had a I cooked them a little longer. I, and my test tasters said that the seasoning was Too salty.

The girls were very excited when they arrived and ask me to cook some straight away.We had the beef flavor and the kids love them.I like the idea that they are wholegrain and baked it makes me feel happy about feeding them to my kids knowing they are full of goodness.

We bought some of these yesterday and put them in our chicken soup and they were DELISH! Transformed our chicken soup into something fun and super tasty. The kids loved them and will definitely have a pack in the pantry. :)

We had the beef noodles and the kids loved them and the adults too, compared to other brands they were far less greasy, and the flavor was awesome you could actually taste it for a change, we will be putting these in our trolley again soon. thanks for letting us trail them they were yummy!!!

Our pack of beef noodles was waiting when we returned from holiday. My 3 yo was very keen to try them to be 'like Daddy' (Daddy has hot n spicy noodles so can't really share). 3 yo loved them, particularly sucking up the long noodles :-) My just turned 1 yo had a few on her highchair tray & she seemed to enjoy the ones that made it to her mouth ;-) I tried some myself & thought they were nice (didn't notice a big difference from the 'normal' ones). Will definitely be keeping some in our pantry for warm lunches & the odd quick dinner. Thanks to Maggi & Kidspot for the opportunity to try these :-)

We tried the chicken noodles. I'm pleased to report I couldn't tell the difference at first. Tasted fine, though I'm not a huge fan of the chicken flavour. I had a good look at the ingredients and nutrirional information, and saw they still have about a 3rd of your daily sodium in them - way too much, and are only 10% wholegrain. I don't doubt that they are healthier than most 2-minute noodles, but they certainly aren't really healthy. I might buy these again, but will probably stick to the asian brands for an occassional treat as we prefer those flavours. Thanks Kidspot for letting us try these.

Our packet of chicken noodles that we were sent were a big hit with my girls. When ever I ask them what they want for dinner the answer is always the same, 2 minute noodles! I tried them one night as well as was feeling a bit poorly, and I loved that they were slightly finer than the cheaper noodles, they would be perfect for Asian stir-fry or noodle soups! Yum, thanks :)

We got the beef noodles. I wanted them for my son as he eats noodles a lot and these are at least a bit healthier. Unfortunately however, he told me that he didn't like them at all! He said that they smelled bad, tasted bad, were too hard, too salty and that the mixture to pour over them was clumpy. Disappointing since it was for him that I was mainly interested. My husband ate some and seemed to think them OK. I will try some myself (do not eat noodles much) and report back!

We got the Beef Noodles. They are yummy. We had them in Chicken Chow Mein tonight. I love that they are Baked and not fried and have hidden wholegrains so are healthier than the normal noodles. My girls loved them too. Will try the girls on them for lunch one day and see how they like them by themselves but so far so good. The packaging is nice and bright so easy to find. I would definately recommend to others

so we got our beef noodles the other week, we have tried a few times. My 3 year old doesnt seem to notice any difference at all BUT as the mummy who snack on the lunches and ate these as a kid my self they just dont taste the same - not bad just not the same

We received our beef noodles the other week and tried them for lunch straight away. Although i am not a big fan of instant noodles I must say that I was positively surprised by the texture and the taste. I liked both and so did my toddler. And the wholegrain is an added bonus. I am a convert now! We will probably not have them every day but from now on they will be in the pantry - just in case!

We eventually received the chicken noodles about 5 days ago. My daughter didn't like the texture whereas I can't see how they are any different to what she usually has. She said she liked the taste however she is now sick so I can't easily get her to try some again yet. I feel confident she will gobble them up! I really really like them being wholegrain. I had some myself and I think they are yummy and flavoursome!

We received the chicken noodles. My whole family loved them. My son had them warm with water and then for his second packet he had them dry with just the flavour packet poured on them. We tried our beef noodles last night (what perfect Winter weather for it!) and the kids absolutely loved it! I must admit, I'm not usually a fan of Maggi noodles, as it often leaves me feeling a bit gluggy afterwards, but this was great! My girls (8 and 3) ate it quite happily and even asked for more. And my husband loves the fact that it is made with Wholegrain. A winner all round! :o)

We received the beef flavour of Maggi extra delicious noodles. The first thing we noticed was the Made with Invisible Wholegrain and Baked not fried, hopfully meaning a healthier snack option for our Diabetic son. His initial impression was "good moist texture & great flavour". We feel that these noodles will be a hit in our house and have gone and bought some other flavours to try...

We got chicken and the first thing I noticed was the yummy smell of the flavour sachet. Both kids loved the noodles and I will buy them in the future. Noodles have always been a treat and now I don't feel quite so guilty giving them for lunch on the weekend and the odd dinner for late nights. Thanks Maggi & Kidspot - really appreciate the trial.

We received the beef noodles! My daught (6.5) loves noodles, and I've always limited them to a treat! Knowing that these are a healthy version, sh e has enjoyed them for lunch several times a week! Hasn't noticed any difference from the other recipe! So a definite hit in our house, and we will be adding to our shoppping list!

We got the chicken noodles. My children both tried them for lunch on sunday, they made them themselves and added their own flavouring. My daughter only put a little bit of flavouring but said that it was just too strong and she didn't like the taste, however she did eat the whole bowl so it can't have been too bad. My son said he couldn't tell they were wholegrain and enjoyed them and they filled him up. I would look at these in the future if I was buying noodles which I don't do often.

We received the Beef flavour noodles. I don't usually like this flavour but OMG these new Extra Delicious ones are quite superb. I used them to make lunch for three adults and one very hungry kid and was amazed that I could feed everyone with just one 5 pack (and we were rather full!). Usually with cheap brand noodles I have to cook two packs for each person but these were so filling that I've now changed my preference when shopping because these work out more economical - not to mention so much nicer in taste! They kept their shape better too and the wholegrain is an added bonus. I've since bought the Chicken flavour extra delicious noodles and they were just as good. I can see me using these as a base in lots of other recipes :) Thanks Kidspot and Maggi!

We recieved the chicken noodles :) I had actually brought some in the shopping as well before finding out that I was chosen as a reviewer.. Definately a hit with my 2 1/2 year old. Shes always asking for Noodles now.. She didnt notice any difference between the wholegrain or the normal noodles and its nice for me to know that they are a bit healthier and shes getting some wholegrains as she is a bit of a picky eater. Will definately be continuing to get these in the shopping and might branch out and try her with other flavours as well :) Thankyou for letting us try these.

We received the Chicken Maggi Noodles to try. My boys were a bit reluctant to try these. Not sure why, maybe because they love the 'original' Maggi 2 Minute Noodles so much. They tried them and loved them one of them even went as far to say as they love them more than the others. I'm really happy about that because they are great as snacks or lunches in the weekends and the fact that these are healthier for them is wonderful.

Chicken Noodles receive last week and tried them on our daughter at the weekend who loved them. She loved picking them up with her fingers and slurping them like spaghetti. A definite hit in that it provided fun with the essential nutritional requirements. Thanks for letting us try these!

We popped some of these in to the shopping the week after reading the reviews - I realised we hadn't had noodles for ages! My children were arguing about flavours so I got one of each and both kids love their flavour. One is a chicken nut and the other loves the beef, so two happy campers! Now the kids are back to school as well it's great to have a quick and easy snack available for them for the afternoon munchies. :)

We received the chicken flavour to try - not my childrens favourite, they normally choose oriental or beef. The wholegrain is certainly not noticeable, and it's great that they are a more healthy option. I really liked them, the kids weren't fussed either way but may have been different had we received a different flavour.

We received the Chicken ones which my 3yr old loves anyway so it was great to compare. The wholegrain went completely unnoticed which was brilliant and there is no difference in the taste which is great as they went a bit horrible for a while. Thanks so much for the opportunity!

hi we received the chicken noodles they tasted a bit bland for me which was surprising as the noodles turned quite yellow with flavouring but my 8yr old loved them and my 3yr old niece whos a picky eater wouldn't touch them typical for her tho i liked the fact you couldn't see or taste the wholegrain and there baked instead of fried would definatley buy these again for my 8 year old

We received the beef noodles, My daughter and I eat noodles a lot for lunch and both of us thought that the noodles were just as good as "regular noodles". They didn't taste extra healthy or anything! The flavour sachet did taste slightly different, but overall I think they were delicious. I would buy these in the supermarket, depending on how much they retail for as we are on such a strict budget. The fact the noodles are not full of fat is definitely a bonus

We received Beef flavour. The noodles were super easy to make, but my son wasn't so sure about the colour and beef is not my favourite flavour. I think we might prefer the chicken flavour. We both ate them up though and I'm glad they are a healthy option as most noodles aren't!

We got the beef flavour and I must say they smelt rather good while they were cooking! Miss 6 who loves noodles thought they were very yummy but Master 8 said he preferred the ones I usually buy (which are not Maggi). Miss 14 seemed to like them though and I thought they were okay as far as instant noodles go (I'm not a huge fan so okay for me is pretty good lol).

Thanks so much for the opportunity to review the noodles ~ Absolutely awesome! They are always a winner in our house with hungry little mouths to feed. We used some of our pack as a quick brekky on a lazy Sunday... sooo good.. and the kids class it as a real treat having a noodle brekky... I like the fact that there is wholegrain in there too yet they don't seem heavy - we got chicken flavour which was tasty as always. We used a pack in noodle omelette with some veges and grated cheese to make it go further and make it a whole dinner... superb! Maggis noodles will always have a spot in our pantry! Love 'em!

We got the Beef 2 minute noodles (Thanks Kidspot!) and I made a beef stir fry for dinner and added in the noodles to complete the meal. Kids loved slurping them up, couldn't discern the flavor as they were with a whole lot of flavors, but will try them on their own and report back!

Thanks for choosing us to review the noodles, my hubby daughter and i tried out the chicken flavored noodles - my hubby thought they we're yummy and so did i (been a while since we've brought maggie noodles because for a while they tasted funny/different) but they taste like the original now which is good because i love the flavor - there's no comparing it to other brands, my daughter (2yo) didnt fancy them so much though , but kids are picky!. The smell of the flavor sachet is a bit overpowering but non the less its yummy . Definitely will be adding this to my shopping list now.

Normally we buy chicken noodles, so when the beef flavour turned up I was a little worried that my son wouldn't like them... I cooked them up for him, and he loved them :) I tried some and I thought they had a far nicer texture than other noodles. I also love that the whole grain is sneakily in there :) So I will be buying these again!!

We received the Beef flavour which i have to admit isn't my children's favourite. However we cooked them up and they did eat them all. I tasted them and I thought they were different to the normal noodles we usually buy - seemed to have more texture. I asked my girls what they thought but they didn't seem to think they were much different - not sure if that was good or bad! :-) Might have to buy the chicken flavour to see if there really is a noticable difference. We received the beef noodles. Partner cooked some up late last night (he always cooks them in a frying pan with water, then he adds cheese/onion and cut up meat) (I usually just slap them in the microwave when I cook them lol)He thought the flavor sachet was stronger tasting and he really enjoyed them.
I made some for my sons lunch today.He ate them all up and said he liked them but said next time he will wait until daddy gets home and get him to make them ;o( .
(I don't make them as 'fancy' lol)

I should also add that we were given a packet of chicken noodles at Mainly Music which I passed onto one of my care-families. The mum was grateful. She said her little ones don't like noodles but her teenager would love it. The next day the little ones were telling me about the yummy noodles they had for dinner last night. We received the chicken flavour pack which is our favourite, so everyone happy! I cooked these for the first time last night, when I ran out of time to make dinner (and was feeling lousy, flu coming on!). I make them for my two daughters and husband (2 packets was sufficient) and they ate them with peas and corn added, with either fish or chicken on the side.

My 5yo wolfed them down, the 2yo was less interested but I suspect this was due to her appetite level rather than the dinner itself, as she usually loves carbs! Husband happily finished off her leftovers.

These noodles work best for us when we are time poor and can't spare 8 minutes to cook pasta, rice, etc.

With two young daughters, I prefer them to fill up on fruit or smaller snacks in between meals but I can imagine how useful these instant noodles would be for teenagers!

We received the beef flavour which, alas my daughter wasn't very happy about- not to be deterred, we used a chicken flavour sachet on some to check them out- I personally found them much more satisfying than the other ones that are not whole grain- the flavour wasnt too salty- Will these come in a noodle pottle presentation? Consumer rated these very highly and its great they are baked vs fried- they get a tick from me- some little dried veges would add a bit extra too. They make a great snack and I loved having the opportunity to try them

My family and I recieved the beef flavoured noodles. My children normally love noodles, and I love the ease of making them for lunch or a lazy dinner occasionally, at first I thought that my children wouldnt like them because they were made from wholegrains but they proved me wrong and absolutly loved them. We received the Beef flavour to try, which was great as I always buy the chicken ones so was nice to try something different. The kids enjoyed the beef flavour as much as the chicken. I usually add a few veges just to make them a bit healthier. The only difference I noticed in the extra delicious is that they hold their shape better and don't tend to go mushy like the other ones did. I have also used them in a noodle omelette (again with veges and leftover chicken ) and that was a hit - such a quick healthy snack or meal. Thanks for the opportunity to trial - we will continue to buy these, for flavour, nutrition, value for money and time saving!

We had the Beef flavour to trial. We haven't had 2 minute noodles for a while as I felt the nutritional benefit was just too low to justify their existence in our pantry lol. However, I have changed my tune now that they have the invisible wholegrain in them. The kids loved them, and I am glad they are getting some fibre while they enjoy the noodles. I made them even better by adding some steamed chopped veges (carrots, peas, corns etc). A quick & easy snack. Will buy again for sure. Thank you.

We received the chicken flavour, and my kids (3) all loved them. They didn't notice any difference with the added wholegrain, and all wanted more. I noticed too that they needed a bit more cooking than the non wholegrain noodles. The flavour sachet packet was too hard for my kids to open by themselves, but other than that they were a huge hit in our household.

We received the beef flavored noddles sample and it was a hit in our house. Myself, my husband and my two toddlers all tried the noddles. We found that they filled my children more then the normal packet, they have been known to ask for more. Instead they left some on their plate because they were full! I'm guessing because they are wholegrain.
I preferred the texture of these noodles myself compared to the original also, they didn't seem to fall apart as much. Thumbs up!!

Our family were sent The Maggi Extra Delicious Chicken Noodles to sample. Luckily Chicken is the ONLY flavour we usually purchase so we felt somewhat qualified to comment! The problem we have with instant noodles in general is that they just taste SO unhealthy {maybe because they are?}, so despite the fact that we quite like them, we don't eat them that often.
The new improved noodles scored high with all four of the testers in our house. The wholegrain makes a great improvement to the overall taste, the flavour was lighter, we found the noodles less salty and greasy. We could really taste the difference and were stoked with the improvement!

We have been sampling the chicken flavour noodles and am happy to say that they taste just the same as the other non-wholegrain ones. I thought the texture or flavour would be different and was worried the kids would notice and not eat them, but the taste and texture were just the same so we will be getting these from now on. They did seem to need a little extra cooking and a bit more water.

We received the beef noodles. They were enjoyed by all of us and we didnt find a huge difference between these and the usual 2 minute noodles, however they have much less fat and include the wholegrain component that has to be good for us. Our only complaint was that they are quite salty - in fact one packet of noodles = 66% of your daily sodium intake! It would be great to see the amount of sodium reduced to go with the healthy push that is being used with these.

Hi, I have just cooked up a couple of packs of Beef noodles for myself and my son. We found these definitely have more flavour than the standard noodles, (as in the beef flavouring). Very filling too!! We certainly couldn't taste the wholegrain which is good for getting the kids to eat them. I did cook them for slightly longer as they felt a little hard to start with and the other difference I noted was they kept wanting to boil over - they went quite frothy at one point. Next time I will put them in a bigger saucepan. We will definitely purchase these in the future. Thanks for the opportunity to trial these.

Thanks so much for the noodles. They were waiting for us when we got back from holiday. We got the chicken flavour and the children (8, 6, and 19mths) and I had them for lunch.
I loved that they are 99% fat free and wholegrain. They were a success with everyone. I have been buying the original 2 min noodles because of price but these are sooo much nicer. They taste healthier. I'm also really happy that the toddler liked them, in fact she wanted "more". She won't eat bread or anything resembling bread so these are great as it gives me a healthy lunch option for her.
Will be swapping to these extra delicious two minute noodles!!!

We are a family who eats noodles as a snack nearly every other day because of all the afterschool activities we have so its great to have a quick snack to make that is as filling as these noodles were. We finally tried our MAGGI noodles today and they still have the same great taste as normal ones, except that this is better because of the wholegrain. I am able to detect the slight difference in taste as my tastebuds are more sensitive, but the noodles are still springy and yummy, and my 3 kids love them. I like it too that the flavouring has no MSG, as I don't see it on the ingredient list and we don't get thirsty. Great healthier option! Thank you for the trial.

thankyou we recieved our beef noodles a couple of days ago, they were loved by my 3 kids who decided they wanted them for tea as well as lunch so i compromised and made a stir fry. noodles did go mushy on 1 st attempt (for stir fry) but on 2nd i didnt let them cook for long and were delicioius . to be honest i didnt notice any difference beween new and old which could be a great thing considering these are a healthier choice compared to the fried.

Wow what can i say but Brilliant and Fantastic. My son eats noodles like it is water and to be able to review these was fabulous. Without telling my son that they were different he straightaway noticed the difference but in a great way. He found them to be alot tastier than normal ones and that the flavourings were alot tastier and much more in there. The only one thing my husband and i found were that they were alot more chewier than any of the others that we eat. They cook with ease and are very fast to prepare and very very tasty. My husband and I both could not use the whole flavour satchet as it was very strong but yet very nice. If we weren't told that there now is wholegrain in there you wouldn't believe it as it tastes delicious and my son doesn't eat wholegrain bread but ate these in a second. I love the new cooking method being baked not fried anymore and will be beneficial for our kids. I am most definetely a converted buyer and will buy these new ones instead of all the fried ones out in the market. I love the new golden colour too which makes the kids think it is more appealing.
A huge 100% improvement Maggi and you are on a winner here. Delcious, healthier and kids (and adults) love them

Thanks so much for letting us trial this product. We received the beef flavoured noodles. My daughters loved these (9yrs and 4yrs), we usually buy both the chicken and beef flavoured Maggi noodles. They are an easy lunch time meal. We sometimes added chopped ham and grated cheese to make a fulling dinner meal. I'm not usually a fan but enjoyed the flavour of these. I did cook them slightly longer though, bonus that they included wholegrain. Will be buying these in the future!

We tried the chicken flavoured noodles and they tasted as delicious as "normal" chicken noodles. They kids didn't even notice that they were wholemeal as this keeps them happy for the taste and us happy for being healthier than the usual noodles. I made it even better by tossing in a handful of peas. They do hold their shape better so would be excellent in other recipes.

Tested the Beef flavour, Mr2 loved them I'll give him a full pack next time as half was gone like that! I didnt like the beef flavour but will go and buy chicken next time for me and my son. We received our pack on Monday, which was an easy lunch option for us We got the Chicken flavour, which is good as its the flavour my kids normally like. .<br>Noticed that the noodles seem to hold together better than the normal ones, and the flavour is slightly different, but not that different. I think they might of done with another 20sec or soo of cooking, but they are fine.<br>The kids ate a bowl full each, and the fact that they are a healthier version didnt seem to make a difference!

I received the noodles yesterday and gave them to my 3 year old for lunch. He ate half, bu they did tend to get a bit mushy once cooled. If left in the liquid, they turn mushy. So I will just drain mine as soon as cooked. They do taste the same as the original in my oppinion. I would buy them again!

We received the chicken flavoured noodles, which was great because that's generally our favourite flavour. Mr 10 was determined to find a difference between these new noodles and the old style, so told me that he thought they looked darker - not sure if they really did! Anyway, after trying them, he said that they were very nice, and tasted just the same. I'm happy with the fact that this is now a healthier option for an easy lunch. As others have mentioned, they did take a little bit longer to cook - still a quick meal though. Thanks so much for including us in this trial :)

Miss 20mth and I had the beef flavoured noodles for lunch. We both finished our bowls and Miss 20mth kept saying "yummy yummy yummy" throughout lunch. I can't compare these to the normal beef flavoured noodles as we tend to always buy chicken but I loved the fact that when they were cooked there was no oil settled on the top of the bowls. Just recieved my packet of Maggi Chicken noodles last night, and it was timely as I had no idea what to make for dinner! So the kids had their noodles with veges on the side, and I used another packet and added it to some meat and vegetables for a stir fry for my husband and I (the kids prefer their food seperate, not mixed together!).

It took an extra 30 s in the microwave to get them soft (so 2.5 minute noodles!), but otherwise I really couldn't tell the difference, but it's good to know they are healthier for us ( unless I add butter on top of them!). We only use about 1/2 the flavour sachet, but that's tasty enough for us.

Maggi are my favourite 2 minute noodles, and I'll be stocking up on the new variety next time I'm in store!

I found the noodles took a little longer cook than normal 2 minute noodles,but the boys cleaned their bowls completely,so they must be just as good as before.

Love the fact that they're even more healthier for them.

We've tried loads of different brands but always go back to Maggi,as it's a well known trusted brand.

I received beef noodles and they are delicious. They appear to be more filling now they have wholegrain in them but maybe this is mind over matter. The flavour also seems much nicer than I remember. Love noodles but these are even better with the wholegrain and being baked not fried, loving them.

We recieved the Chicken Flavour Noodles early last week and have now had the chance to try them out! Mr 6 is currently on School Holidays, so he has had these for lunch a few times now - and he loves them! I love that these are wholegrain and 99% fat free! Plus it's nice to have something different for lunch instead of just sandwiches! We will definitely be buying these again, can't wait to try the beef flavour and also to add our own flavour to these like others have suggested! I think these will become a regular treat on Saturdays after sports, or a yummy snack after a cold day at school! Nothing better to warm the kids up then a bowl of wholegrain noodles! Due to sodium content we dont use the sachet and instead create our own flavours or add the noodles to soup. They broke up easily and cooked well.

we received our Beef Flavour Noodles on Friday morning, so my 2yo Son and i had some for lunch on Friday. well my son ate his with out any problems, i can honestly say that i could not tell the difference in the taste of the these noodles and the original ones. my Partner had some for afternoon tea once he was home from work and he could not tell the difference either so i would say that these are AWESOME, Full of nutrition and the kids will not know any difference in them, and i will be buying them in the future. i would like to say a big thank you for these and that they are SUPER delicious.

I managed to keep them in the cupboard until tonight - perfect used with some veggies and the left over bits of chicken from the Sunday Roast - chicken noodle soup - yum. The 2yo boy finished his then made his way onto my lap to finish my bowl. And no-one noticed the extra wholegrains - not even Daddy. We received the chicken flavoured Maggi noodles. This is the flavour we usually buy, but in the regular variety, so I was intrigued to find out what exactly these “invisible wholegrains” were all about , and more importantly, would they be accepted by my 15 month son.

Upon opening the package, the noodles appeared to look pretty similar to the regular noodles I buy. Perhaps a little less yellow, but generally just the same. I prepared them on the stove via the usual method, which is uber simple (boil for 2 minutes), and one of the things I love about Maggi noodles! I then served my son a small portion of noodles while I finished the rest, and I have to say they do taste just as good as the originals; Very yummy and easy to eat! My son was not so sure about his noodles, but being a toddler who happens to be a very fussy eater, and this being the first time he had ever seen noodles, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and allowed him to push them around the highchair for a few minutes longer. I think perhaps he was just fascinated by the texture! He did eventually manoeuvre a small handful to his mouth and then he was all go. Not the easiest finger food for a small toddler, so he did require a bit of assistance, but overall I would say he enjoyed them.

Nutritionally I loved the fact that these noodles have wholegrain in them (12% of your daily intake), as that is something I am very conscious of in the selection of food for my family. I also think this would make a great base item for a simple meal or lunch, so on our second day of our trial we had noodles with a small can of tuna stirred through. This worked fantastically and my son loved it.

The Bottom Line:
An excellent improvement to an old favourite. Will definitely be keeping these in mind for future meal ideas. Thank you Maggi and Kidspot!

My family are a big fan of noodles and all but 2 loved Maggi extra delicious. I thought the texture and flavour were great. I Love the fact they have wholegrains and are baked, so are a good healthy noodle option. I did however only use half the flavour sachet, as like other noodles the sodium content is higher than I would like.
They broke up easily were easy to prepare and cooked well.
Mr17 and Mr10 said they prefered the traditional maggi noodles. I will definately be adding these to my trolley. Thanks kidspot and Maggi.

likes noodles and soup. its so filling and yum. its a quick meal-fix. my elder son

We tested out the chicken flavour. these were ok but couldn't taste much of a difference to the normal ones. still really good though our house is not planning on buying these in future as we love the fusion range of maggi noodles

We received beef flavour, and so far all the family love them. They have the same great flavour as maggi noodles normally do, and look the same, no change in texture, so noone can tell there might be any added goodness in there at all!
Delicious with a bit of garlic or hot sauce in them to.

I hate to say but these were not a big hit in out house. I made them as an afternoon snack for miss 2yr and mr 5yr and neither were fussed on eating them. Mr 5 had about 4 mouthfuls and didn't want any more and miss 2 barely had any after the first mouthful. I liked how they had wholegrains and less fat but the kids didn't agree. if theres one thing i know my fussy 4yr old will eat its definitely noodles! we usuaaly buy maggi chicken or beef. to be honest my daughter didnt taste any difference nor did i so no "extra delicious" for us . in saying that maybe its not supposed to taste any different and its just meant to be a healthier version? so no real raving review from me because it really was no different taste,texture,packaging from the normal maggi noodles other than my daughter ate it without any complaining yay and i have less of the parent-guilts for feeding my child a healthier version of noodles!

We recevied the chicken ones the kids all liked them i tryed them and to me the taste was not a lot different from the other maggi noodles.I did like that they have wholegrains in them and its good to see that they are baked and not fried. And good that the the older kids can cook them for there self and there brothers and sisters so i got a night of cooking. thanks again fo letting us review them

Received the beef flavour, and although our grandson prefers chicken he devoured these noodles. He thoroughly enjoyed them. Yes it was good to see that they have wholegrain in then and that they are not fried. A great quick lunch for him.

Thank you picking us to review but I am unfortunately not able to give a glowing review this time. They were not really a hit this time, both daughter and husband that the noodles did not absorb the flavour and were not very tasty but the 'sauce' was too salty. I was happy to see that they were not fried and made with wholegrain but sadly cannot fool the family into the healthier alternative this time

Well we had these last night for tea with some mince and veges. Both kids gobbled them up and LOVED tea. Definitely a nice easy meal. Will be regularly getting these for those "too tired to cook" moments! THANKS for the opportunity to try them.

We had them for lunch the first day, both the kids loved the noodles ... I only used half a sachet though because of the salt content. Great for a quick lunch for our 1 and 2 year olds. Husband enjoys them for a snack too!

the boys hadnt tried this sort and they loved it they said it was nicer tasting than the reg maggi noodles ....... master 13 months had his soup (juice) drained off so he just ate the flavoured noodles and he hogged through them and master 9 yrs ate his with the saucy thing in it
all agreed it seemed nicer and none seemed to say it was any saltier or more yuckier than the regular ones .......

we were delighted to receive the chicken flavour as this is always our favourite,,i have to agree with K4Kylie, regarding the sodium levels, was disappointed to see that there was not more of a reduction ,as they are claiming to be a healthier alternative to normal noodles, on a whole though the flavour was good and the product filling,again i am one for reading the back of the pack for the nutritional values, and i also noticed the fibre not mentioned, one has to wonder just how healthy these are, i would only recommend them for an occasional food, not an everyday or weekly food, they are obviously better than many noodle products out there, but again not really what i consider a great health food,i think the wholegrain bit is a bit of a gimmic, to attract people to buy what they think is a healthy product, yes it is in there, but just how much, so for us probably a 6/10,but yes they did smell good, taste pretty good and did the trick, filled the bellies.

We recieved the beef flavour, usually I stick with chicken. But to my surprise they were really nice, I always cook my noodles a bit longer than recommended as I dont like the watery soup at the bottom and I like the flavour to absorb well, I thought they were very similar to the regular maggi noodles, though uncooked the colour of the noodles looked a bit greyish and my husband didnt like the way the noodle cake was kind of folded in half (not one solid block) but very minor! Great noodles I will be buying them in future :)

We received the chicken flavoured noodles (which was lucky because they are our boys favourite), and they couldn't wait to try them. They thought they were easy to break up and there was lots of flavouring. Our 8 year old ate them all, but wasn't to fussed on them. Our 6 year old didn't like them at all. They thought the noodles were too firm (even though I cooked them for a little longer) and they didn't like the flavour of them. From the little bit I tried, I thought the flavour wasn't too bad, but they were a bit too firm for my liking. I prefer the softer versions.

Thanks Kidspot and Maggi/Nestle. We have the Beef noodles. I have to say that I really disliked the smell when I tipped the flavour sachet into the noodles, so I only used half. Miss 9 liked them and was surprised to find out that they were wholegrain - the noodles tasted the same to her. She said that half the sachet was enough for her and although she liked them, she much prefers chicken which she has had before. I don't think I would buy the beef just due to the smell - it even put me off trying them myself.

Miss 11 refused to eat the sample noodles because they were chicken flavour! Miss 8 tried them a couple of times and thought they were pretty much the same as Maggi noodles she'd had in the past, although she thought they were harder to break up before cooking them and a little "drier" in texture. She would happily eat them again, but still prefers beef flavoured noodles from another brand.

Disappointingly, Maggi's "invisible wholegrain" is so invisible that the fibre content is not listed in the nutritional breakdown on the back of the pack (makes me wonder how much fibre really is in there).

We were sent the beef flavour. My eight year old son was the first to try. They were delish, yummier and went down a treat. So, next i was to try them. I was really surprised how nice they were. A little firmer, which was a refreshing texture and with a lovely flavour. I am totally sold on these and will be purchasing most weeks. Thanks

We recieved the beef flavored Maggi noodles and the kids absolutely love them! So easy to make and the kids seem full and happy after eating them. Would of really liked to have tried them myself but I didnt get a chance! Between my husband and the kids they are all gone. We got the beef flavour. DH took one look at the packet and rolled his eyes. He cooked the noodles up for me and the girls but didn't want to try them himself. He did comment that they were slightly thinner and were easier to break up than regular noodles. My girls (2 and nearly 4) loved them and didn't comment about them being any different to other noddles. I enjoyed the taste and found them more filling than usual. I couldn't finish a whole packet so handed the rest over to my daughters who happily finished it off. My girls would be keen to have them again. I'll be buying them when I see them on special as they are a bit more expensive than regular noodles.

We got the chicken flavour and both my children (16 and 4) loved them. I love the fact the are baked not fried and contain wholegrain. They taste great and I found that they didn't seem to go as gluggy as some other noodles. Will definately be getting these again.

We were sent the Beef flavoured noodles and we have tried one packet on out 2 1/2 year old. It took a little bit of coaxing for her to try them (but that may have just been her mood the other night) but once she started eating them she happily continued until she was full. We then finished off the rest of the bowl as there had been too much for little miss to eat and they tasted the same as we remembered from our younger days.
I am a little concerned about the amount of salt in the flavour sachet so may try swapping this with a homemade pasta sauce the next time we give them to little miss.
I also tried to find out if they contain Palm Oil, like some other brands of instant noodles do but could not find this information anywhere. It would be great to find this out, especially after the illegal fires in Borneo last week to make room for more Palm Oil plantations putting already endangered Orangutans at greater risk of extinction :(

My family tried the chicken noodles for lunch. We didn't really enjoy them at all. Out of the four of us who tried them, only my daughter liked them. We thought they didn't have as much flavour as other noodles have, in saying that, my daughter who liked them is usually fussy and eats like a bird and she had seconds. I think my problem is that I like my noodles soggy and these keep their shape and are quite firm. I think I will try the last packet in chicken noodle soup for dinner :)

Our family received these extra delicious noodles yesterday. We thought they were full of flavour and nowhere as bland as some of the other noodles we have tasted. The flavour we were given was beef. We thought the nodles were firmer than normal noodles. We would certainly recommend them to our family and friends.

My kids really liked these!!! I liked the texture and flavour. They didn't go soggy like some noodles do. They kept the kids fuller for longer and it is nice to know that they are a healthier alternative giving my kids the benefits of whole grains. I will be looking for these now at the supermarket rather than the ones we used to get.

YEEHAW! We were selected for the new maggi noodles with hidden WHOLEGRAIN GOODNESS, and BAKED not fried. The packet arrived this morning and we all sampled them for lunch.... WOWEE!! A HIT - they tasted so much more "real" (i'm guessing form the badkedness and the wholegrain in it). More filling definitely! So less for kids to have or feed same amount and not have them harping on for more food as quickly :) Taste fantastic crunchy and uncooked too as a nice version of crunchiness in strifry :)

i got the package yesterday and opened it up to find chicken flavor inside.i gave my son (2) some for his dinner and he scoffed the lot and wanted more so i cooked up another packet and he ate that too.they cook up slightly different as are more stoggier but were still very good.great for a quick snak.would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Our noodles arrived today in time for lunch we had chicken ones and they smelt wonderful they were easy for the kids (12) to prepare and when i asked what they thought my daughter thought they had more flavoring than last one she had. Miss 4 ate the entire bowl for and for her that is a big thumbs up!! Hubby ate another packet and he too thought they were pretty good. All in all compared to other brands Maggi is the best and in our house result in empty bowls and full tummys!!

Well these sure were a hit. The courier arrived late yesterday afternoon and when we opened the package I was beseiged with "please mum, please can I" so it was 2 minute noodles for dinner last night. When I opened the pack I did notice a change in the colour of the noodles obviously due to the whole wheat content and they definately smelt different - more natural and wholesome. The verdict was thumbs up! I asked if they were better or worse than the last time we had noodles and only one child reckoned she noticed a difference and said they were definately better. Myself, I thought the noodles cooked a bit stoggier than usual and definately not as salty as they used to be with the flavour sachet added so that gets the thumbs up from me.

We got our noodles (Beef) yesterday. (We usually buy Chicken so this was a different flavour for us!) I made 1 packet which we tried and then made another packet as one daughter wanted more!! My daughters like the fluid drained off after it's cooked and flavoured and eat just the noodles. (I drink the 'soup'). We didn't really notice a taste difference in the noodles. I thought they might look a bit more and taste a bit more 'wholemeal'. The flavour sachet was strong smelling but diluted in the water and no green vege flecks which one daughter doesn't really like.
I compared a Chicken packet I had to this Beef one - big reductions in the fat content of the product!
My verdict: the new product is still a quick, tasty snack which my daughters enjoy with a healthier component which encourages me to buy and use it!

Noodles arrived and Mr 12, Mr 10 and Miss 6 couldnt wait to try them, because noodles are noodles. They loved the taste (chicken) and they ate them all. Master 1 arrives so I try them on him, he never turned his head away, so thats saying something. I ate the left over from Master 1 and yes they are very flavoursome, brighter colour in the flavouring, can taste the difference than the usual, and in the end, my children put them at the top of the grocery list, so went shopping today without the list, but Miss 6 saw them on the shelf and they were soon in our trolley, I recommend them for all ages and good tasting. By the way, we read the packet together so they knew it was different, but it didnt mean much to them once they were eating it. thanks for letting us be part of the trial.

Noodles for lunch today! Mr 8 scoffed them down and didn't seem to notice any difference from the standard ones we have had before. He hadn't tried Beef flavour before, but was happy with the new taste. Me, I'm happy to know the 'extra delicious' noodles have extra goodness! I sampled the noodles too. The only difference I noticed was they seemed to be not as thick, but still just as tasty!

We got our noodles today and had them for dinner. The kids were waiting with bated breath, hoping they'd get chicken flavour which is their favourite, and we did get chicken. Miss 10 said 'They taste exactly the same' and Mr 12 said 'But they're healthier'. We've had the 'baked not fried' noodles before and the kids weren't that fussed on them but the addition of wholegrain seems to be a drawcard for them, especially since you can't see it. We received our packet of chicken noodles today, and I used it to help feed the extra mouths we had staying for tea. It was a very quick to make meal of 1kg beef mince cooked in a little dash of oil, then mix in the flavour sachets from all 5 packets with a bit of water. Add in a selection of frozen vege to the mince. Boil up the noddles (all five packets), add to the mince and veges, and then serve! Lovely flavour, very popular with the kids and adults (we had 3 x 3 yrs olds, a 5 yr old, a 6 yr old and two adults, with two adult sized helpings left over :) ). I was concerned at the sodium levels (41% of an adults recommended daily intake per packet), so spread this out via the mince and loads of frozen vege. I would not consider this a healthy snack for kids on its own, but very good to have in the cupboards to make a very easy, tasty meal for the whole family, so I will be keeping some in my cupboards from now on.

I received my packet of beef extra delicious noodles yesterday. My granddaughter and grandson had a packet each. They both thought that the flavour was more intense than the normal noodles and quite a strong beefy taste. My granddaughter usually loves noodles, but left most of hers. My grandson gobbled up his and then had my granddaughters to his great delight. A good healthy option for when I'm in a hurry or an after school snack. I would definately recommend them to my friends as a healthy snack.

We got the Chicken flavour, and all three of my kids throught they were YUM. I have had them in the past and was always drawn to the baked not fried option and now am more impressed that they contain hidden wholegrains. They taste just as good as I remember. I have not purchased any for the longest time but they were such a hit , and much healthier than a lot of others out there, that I think we will be buying them again soon. Love how quick they are too. Perfect ready in a hurry meal. Well done Maggi for making them better for you!!

My 3yo and 4yo have both had a try of the beef flavour. my 3yo loved it and it was gone quite quickly. My 4yo enjoyed it but said it tasted a little different.
I tried some and thought that it did taste a little different, but still a great taste and one that we may buy in the future.

My daughters like the flavor. it has different test then we used too, probably because it is baked, and it has strong flavor of chicken which was good. My girls got used to it fast and ate all. I like the idea that it is baked and much healthier!

I tried the noodles along-side my son yesterday. We received chicken flavour.

Very good texture, easy to cook, quick to make. I thought the flavour wasn't that good, but my son thought they were fine so that matters more than what I think about them! Nice to know that they're healthier than the average noodles option, so if we're going to buy noodles, this is the variety we'd go for.

we have just received this morning our Maggi extra delicious noodles - beef flavour and i used a pack for lunch for myself. fried a bit of chopped onion, mushrooms and cooked lamb, then added a bit of soy sauce and some asian sweet and sour sauce and then noodles and water, covered the frying pan for a couple of minutes and voila - delicious, hearty lunch is ready for a hungry and busy mum of a toddler girl. i loved these noodles - even the beef flavour (i usually do not buy beef flavour and go for chicken or vege). i was happy to create something new as a dish with such universal yet special noodles. noticed on the pack several more recipes. i would recommend to all those who love noodles - quick and tasty meal. thank you!

We received our noodles last night and it was PERFECT timing as the kids were ravenous and I was late getting home. I had some mince out so quickly fried that off and added a few veges to the mix, and just as they were about to moan - they saw me pop the noodles in and all of a sudden the dinner got exciting! lol. They loved sucking them up and finding the noodles in the mince and dinner was scrumptious. Will definitely keep buying these, they would make a great afterschool snack for our boys who are normally really hungry when they get home from school. I would much rather they had a decent hearty snack than fill up on biscuits and I hadn't thought of these noodles for that before. Thanks again, very happy!

these also came this morning, and me and my son just had ourselves some for lunch, my son pretty much munched them down within minutes, i did notice that they didnt have the startchy taste that regular noodles have, the flavour is still the same which is great and the fact that theyre wholegrain has me sold on them,it can be hard to find products that are wholegrain that kids like...they just know its not so bad for you and wont eat it lol but these i must say are awesome..another great tasting trail kidspot! and also another product thats going back on my shopping list lol... awesome :)

We received the noodles today - Beef flavour - easy to make... and judging by the kids faces and the empty bowls - a real hit with my kids (2.5 years and 5 years)!

We like the fact there is wholegrain in them and it doesn't effect the flavour :)

Will definately buy them in the future.

Our noodles have not arrived yet, but I have been lucky enough to get hold of some the same as these from mainly music. I must say I am very impressed with them, and prefer them over the normal noodles.
We had beef flavour, and we liked it that the noodles didn't go soggy after sitting in the juice for a while. The flavour sachet was also different I think? It has a much more savoury taste, as compared to the older sort, that was more salty. We prefer the newer version.
I have tried the noodles in two ways - just straight noodles, and also in a noodle and cabbage salad, in which the flavour sachet forms the dressing. Both are very delicious with these noodles! I also like the fact that they have wholegrains in them. Thank you Maggi and thank you Kidspot.

I would love for my kids to try these, they are 4 and 9 and forever hungry after school and kindy, they would make a healthy alternative to the usual ones they eat which are greasy and oily, especially as they have wholegrains included and now that they are baked not fried would definatley make a difference in their diet

Will not go anywhere near noodles in less fresh, since watching (think it was) Target and how they showed noodles were made, put the whanau right off.
But BAKED we would love to try as long as its not soaked in fat it sounds amazing, Yum we do really miss instant noodles.

Noodles are always handy to have on hand. When my husband and I have fish for dinner (at least once a week) which my kids can't eat due to having a reaction to I need something easy to give them instead ... I don't like cooking two fully separate dinners. Noodles are nice, quick and easy for them plus tasty snack for us adults too!

So, making them with wholegrain is a great benefit . I woudl be curious to see if she liked them. Also, they are something she is capable of making herself. She has her own way of making them... wliving on my partners student allowence and the little bit of money i get from working for families is tough, after making sure ive got enough food and nappies and formula for my 7month old boy i have to scrape by every week to feed myself and my partner. these noodles would make it easer when we dont have the money to get anything for dinner

I have to be honest and say that sometimes, dinner in our house is 2 minute noodles! Of course the kids think they are great but when mum and dad have to have them too its a bit of a stretch. All 3 kids love noodles (age 3, 8 and 11). Beef is their favourite. One of the big issues for me is the empty carbs in noodles, adding the wholegrain is a great step to improve their GI. Would love to try them to see if the kids still like them with the hidden fibre.

Everything in moderation Matty1 and it's not so bad - even chocolate! Personally - I don't have a problem with my kids having these once in a while as they have an active lifestyle. If it was every meal, every day, yes that would be nutritionally unsound. Good on Maggi for making a healthier wholegrain version. :-)

We are a predominantly Asian household, so we kind of "know our noodles" pretty well! We try to stick to fresh noodles as they are healthier, but the pantry wouldn't be complete without a stash of 2 minute noodles! We mostly buy Asian imported 2 min noodles, which are fried, so Im really curious about how baked noodles differ in taste! And "yes please" to more wholegrain/fibre in our diets!

Oooh, yes please! My children are noodle mad and I would serve Maggi noodles to the family because they are baked, so not riddled with seed oil. Me, me, me! I would use these as the base for stir fries and also add to my regular Monday Chicken Noodle Soup (made with stock/bones from Sunday roast chook).

I have two noodleaholics! aged 11 and 14, and they both got excited when i said kidspot were doing a trial for noodles, so count us in!
My girls love noodles as an after school snack, though im not keen on them eating them all the time, however i would be happier for them to eat these as they are wholegorain, and most likely more filling than the others? I would love to see if the kids eat them and not notice the wholegrain difference.
We also like to make stirfrys would noodles so I would love to see how these taste in one of those too!

OMG! Mister 3 just loves noodles and if asked he says its his favourite. Trouble is I know that not all noodles are as good for you as they taste. It would be fantastic to trial these noodles that look like they are just as good for you. I love how they are so quick and easy for a snack or to rustle up a dinner by adding extra vegies etc to make a meal. Who doesn't like noodles! These sounds great! Especially for lunch on Winter days! Or if we are in a hurry these would be great, because they are a great meal, but also really quick to make! My 12 year old is a noodle fan!! And has quite discerning tastes when it comes to noodles. He's a bottomless pit. AHHHHH noodles I just LOVE noodles if I had my way I would eat them for every meal. They are quick and easy for my mum to prepare for me, especially when I am soooo hungry. My mum tells me these ones are healthy for me to eat, which is what mum likes to feed me lots of healthy things to eat.

All of my children love noodles but these ones we havent tried yet. These sound great as normal noodles arent that healthy so we would love to try these ones to see if they would be the new staple in our cupboard. My daughter is a noodle freak lol last term at school she had them for lunch nearly everyday. She ended up being called Noodle girl so now she has them at home and every now and then at school. i think she would live on noodles if given the chance. Noodles are one meal that definately gets eaten in our house. Its not the greatest table manners but Reece (6) and Bailee (3.75) do this towtruck thing (taught to them by their uncle) where they suck the noodle up and move there hand around like they are pulling a car in - you kind of have to laugh when they are not watching.
As I am working and studying at Uni in the weekends - these would really come in handy as a nice, easy quick meal that I know my babes would enjoy. We would love to trial - thanks for the chance :)

Hi, we would love to trial these. My son usually comes home from school and has a packet of noodles, these would certainly be better knowing they are healthier than standard noodles. A quick lunch idea we all enjoy is a noodle omelette - cook the noodles without adding the flavour satchet, beat the eggs, add the flavour satchet to the eggs, put the cooked noodles in a frypan, pour over the egg mixture, cover and cook until golden on the bottom. Top with grated cheese and place under grill to finish the top. Veges can also be added to this to make it healthier.

Noodles are a hit in this house.
They are good filler upers when after tea late at night you are still that extra bit hungry and my son loves them after school.I also chuck them in to stir fry's etc.

Oh yummy! My family loves noodles as a snack on some extra cold days when it's nice to have something hot and savoury. We usually buy lower cost brands and only use a small amount of the flavouring to cut down on salt and MSG intake. To know that there's a healthier option of using more whole grains for the noodles sure is interesting, and we've definitely love to give it a try!

My kids also like them.
We dont get them often, as my memories of 2 min noodles is from poor student days-soggy, half cold, with last nights left overs thrown in. Just thinking of it makes me cringe. I always thought 2 min noodles were fried in oil so I have stayed away from them in the past. But just recently I read an article in the Consumer that pointed out that the Maggi extra delicious ones were lower in salt and fat that I would have expected. My hubby has always loved maggi noodles and he likes to take them in his lunch box to have at work xo Since the kids are getting abit older now (7, 5 and 2), they older ones have noticed dad taking them and have started asking to have them for arvo tea - which I have let me from time to time since its been pretty cold and they fill the hole and warm them up xoxo I would definantly be interested in trying and probably purchasing wholegrain noodles!

With two young children in the house, we often have to resort to really quick meals such as Noodles, so it would be super awesome to trial these especially as they sound healthier than some Noodles we have consumed and delicious too. : )

My family of 5 certainly enjoy trying new foods and these noodles which are baked instead of fried would be interesting to see what each person from youngest to eldest thinks. Wholegrain which is invisible, but healthier will be told to them after they give me their reviews. Let's see!

These new noodles sound very good. My son and daughter absolutely love noodles and it's usually their choice for lunch. My son is not a huge fan of bread or sandwiches, so noodles were a good option to full him up - they're great!! And now these are even better - would be very greatful to give them a try!! Thanks.

Mmmm sounds delicious! I have been unable to tempt my almost 2 year old daughter with noodles yet - she is going through a fussy stage! So anything new & wholesome to try her on is great! Our family would LOVE to try this product. My husband and two kids (and me) love two minute noodles, and I thrive on the opportunity to provide them with food that they LOVE but also food that is nutritious and healthy. I prefer the provide the option of wholegrain over other products, and this product ticks all the boxes for me. The product is BAKED and not fried, 99% fat free, and now has the goodness of Wholegrain added which really would make the product extra delicious and EXTRA BETTER for you. My 4 year old boy is obsessed with noodles. he wants them for brekfast, lunch and dinner! we try to limit it to once every two days but sometimes not! My daughter is the biggest noodle fan out she would eat them everyday if we let her so I think she would make an excellent reviewer as she knows what she likes :) My youngest son loves anything pasta/noodle like so I would love to try some that are extra healthy for him. We all love noodles, but I do my best not to have them too often - after all they're not the healthiest. Having a wholemeal option would make me feel far less guilty about eating them so much. We usually buy maggi noodles, so I already know we'll like the flavour :)

Hubby, kids, and I all love noodles, especially on weekends and after school hours. We and those we used to have in abundance in the Philippines. The others we've tried here pale in comparison. MAGGI, however, is a good and trusted brand, one that we've always patronised. It would be great to try out the MAGGI Extra Delicious Noodles.

My kids love noodles but its so hard to find ones that are healthy,good in flavour i hate when you open the flavouring sachet,it does not flavour all the noodels.I like to try before i buy so i would love for my children to trail these maggie noodels cause my kids deserve the best.

I LOVE noodles but we don't buy them because I can't have them as they're usually too high in fat (I have gallstones so have to stick to a VERY low fat diet). But with 99% fat free Maggi Extra Delicious noodles my family could enjoy noodles again! :D

Our household loves noodles!

And our local Playcentre produced a cookbook which has the scrummiest noodle fritter recipe in it - and the kids just lap it up - eggs & noodles - so simple!

As these are now made with wholegrain flour they would be slow burning (low GI ) which means the kids will have more energy so my family would love to try them!

Our family would love to try these. Normally my chidren only get noodles (which they love) when they visit their aunty as I tend to not buy them in the groceries as I feel the health benefits are rather debateable. My family enjoy any quick, easy, and tasty snacks! When the boys are hungry, they need food fast! Mr 8 especially is a noodle fan, but I don't let him have them too often. Invisible wholegrain? Perfect. Mr 8 will tell you if they taste any different - he's the noodle expert!
