One of my darling carekids drew on my sofa with crayon today. I thought I'd give it a try with this magic spray. A quick spray and very little effort with a dry rag and the mark was gone. It left a lovely smell too. My spray can has lasted a long time and has been a great sanity saver.
jopukeko - 5:15 PM on Wed-28-Nov-2012 reply | message
I continue to be amazed by this spray. My can keeps going and going. I have been using it predominantly as an air freshener (I wonder if they make a non-aerosol I could keep it in the car). My daughter just came out with a dolly that had felt all over her plastic face. The eucalyptus spray had it gone in a few seconds. I said to Miss 2.5 "Look at Dolly." "Oh she's all cleans and smells good." I think she thought I'd waved a magic wand. I will be buying more when I see it.

I just tried my spray after receiving it for the trial a couple of months ago. I wish I had been using it sooner, it is so good. I will definitely be buying more.

Hi Raglanmum, I bought some from my local pharmacy. Not sure where the other stockists are. I'm loving the spray, just fantastic.

This sounds like just the thing! I would love to buy some, but not sure where to get it? Have only seen Bosisto's drops at the supermarket.

We use this every day and the can is still going strong. Mainly used in the kitchen to wipe down the benches, high chairs etc.. but we also sprayed all the toilets/bathroom surfaces before we went on a two week holiday and came home to a fresh smelling home... Love this product - it will be a must have in our home from now on

Must admit I cheated a wee bit by requesting to trial this awesome product. My mother always had a bottle of the oil in kitchen and medicine cabinet so I already knew that it is an incredible, natural, healthy product with a million uses. It really does match up to the makers claim that it is - A natural antiseptic, deodoriser, germ killer and powerful natural cleaner which has hundreds of health and household applications with more being discovered every day. I would have no problem recommending Bosisto's Eucalyptus Spray to anyone.

This is a great product, with a mutiltude of uses and fresh smelling. Really nice that it is antibacterial too. Cleans and disinfects with that really nice euclalytpus fragrance. Really impressed with this product and would definitely buy again. Also low irritant to our hayfeverish noses.

Sadly, my can is almost all gone... but happily, my local Chemist sells it so I can go and get some more! LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! :-)

I am simply AMAZED at the versitilty of this product. It nearly a one top product and whilst I haven't tried all its uses the main thing I have done is sprayed my daughters room when she had a cold and the duration of her cold seemed to be reduced. I also like the smell and had every faith with it being natural. We have also used it has a anti bacterial wipe and on soft furnishings for which I haven't seen any residual marks. My partner also can't believe the versitilty so I think its going to be a staple family product going forward.

This product is fantastic!!!!!!!
It has so many uses and comes with a very handy booklet.I sprayed it around and on my wee girls(dog) bedding area,A quick spray in the sons room before he goes to bed he says he likes the smell as hes going off to sleep...I look after a little boy at the moment during the day and he has a horrible flu bug so I spray down all the toys he has been playing with.I have been spraying all the door handles/the phone etc I love it and I love the smell. Tomorrow I am going to strip the beds and spray it on the mattresses. I don't know how I lived with out this amazing product before there is just so many uses for it .I will defiantly be buying again and will be recommending it to every one I know.

Thank you so much kidspot and Bosisto's for the opportunity to trail the Eucalyptus Spray we LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!

I love this product. It does everything, apart from the usual things you would use eucalyptus on, it removes tar spots on your car, sticky labels, removes stains on carpets and clothes, freshens your upholstery, and the freshness lasts for about a week. I sprayed it inside my rubbish bin after I had cleaned it and every time I put something in it I smelt just niceness not rubbish smells. I started to get conjuctivitis the other day and as I was spraying it around the room I walked through a cloud of it, it made my eyes water a bit but then the next morning no more conjuctivitis, I swear it was the spray cause I didn't do anything else. I am going to have to check if my chemist stocks this cause I will be buying more. I had to try all the different things you can use this for, lol. Thanks so much for including me in the trial.

I've got an update to add on my new favourite product: Both of my girls have been sick with colds and I've been spraying their rooms at night to make breathing easier as well as to kill germs. They've both said it really helps them to breathe and get to sleep. The other thing I noticed is that this helps prevent my youngest daughter from coughing all through the night. I've added it to their bath water as well and combined with the steam it's an incredibly effective decongestant that also clears the head and perks them up. They've both commented that they feel much better afterwards. I've also discovered that it can be used in the fight against nits to prevent infestation and also to kill head lice. Woo hoo! Can this get any better?

Hey everyone,

I have written my review and thought I'd post the blog address thingy here so you can have a read yourselves.
http://social.kidspot.co.nz/MumBum/blog/3199/

I am very sorry for the formatting, my idiot computer has decided to run everything together making my blogs and comments a bit hard to read, even though I write them with correct spacing for paragraphs etc!!! Very annoying!
I hope you enjoy my review anyway. :-)
Thank you once again Kidspot and fgb for another awesome product to trial and review! Hugs MumBum :-)

Yay! Mine has arrived at last (because I had moved not through any fault of anyone else!).... I had my todo list ready for today and wouldn't you know? There are a number of "icky" chores to do, like clean out the fridge because "someone" spilled "something" on one of the shelves and I just discovered it late last night behind the cheese and next to the sauce, so I am going to try this product on the fridge... if it works as well for me as it has for everyone else, I'd happily spend the $18 odd dollars to keep stocked up!

I like this product very much! I sprayed the kids mattress protectors when I couldn't hang them out on the washing line. an indoor anti-bacterial treatment! I like the smell. We have also used it to wipe down the kids play areas/tables. And on toilet seats. And to take the stickers off my son's bedroom door. I'm eyeing up the stains on the kids school tops - that might be glue but didn't shift with napisan.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!!
It has so many uses, but my fav use is for the bathroom. I do homebased care, meaning with all the toilet training, and dirty fingers/ germs, using this product has been great. Everything now looks, feels and smells so clean!
I've used it on all the door handles too. Espeically good to stop the spread of germs at this time of year with all the bugs going around.
I have also used it on the toys. Lego and blocks mainly. With babies chewing on them all the time, its great to have something to clean away the potenial bugs. Im really keen to try this as a stain remover now and see how that goes :)
I will most definately be buying this again. don't think i can be without it now!

well, how timely was this product! we have just finished a move from wellington to auckland and i used this product in every single room for cleaning because i loved the smell soooooo much! spot cleaning on the carpet for spills was fantastic and a household with three littlies (and a husband!) there are spillages everyday! i did try and use it on an old fanta orange stain from three months ago (whoops) and really had my hopes up but it didnt work - theres no harm in trying. the sticky label thing worked as well (loved this) and my husband also just finished cleaning the car with bosistoes and didnt completely remove the pen doodles but it is a lot fainter and the car is deodarized and clean. i did tell my husband to use sparingly until i get another bottle. no side effects for me from the strong smell although when i was pregnant i loved the smell of jif!hmmmmmm. ive been looking out for it at our local new world and pak and save in porirua and havent managed to find out? the can also travelled in my handbag on the relocation move and when we stayed in taupo for the night i got spraying in our room. love love love this product and as a mom you want your kids to be healthy and this definitely gives you some piece of mind! BIG FAN!

Part 2 of my review: One of my darlings drew on my sofa with permanent maker. The eucalyptus spray worked so well that we can't see the drawing anymore. I had be worried it would leave an oily stain but it hasn't. I also had another child draw on the magna doddle with regular felt tip and spray helped to remove this although it isn't white anymore it is certainly still usable. The only down side I have found is that the strong smell can give you a headache.
Cheekybabes - 3:47 PM on Fri-10-Aug-2012 reply | message
This spray is just absolutely amazing!! I've always loved eucalyptus smell and to be able to use it in such a quick and effective way has been a godsend! The kids have had colds lately so it's been great to regularly spray a natural product in their rooms to help kill the germs and so they can breathe easier and to them be able to use it as a spray on the toilet etc is just fantastic. Fallen in love with this product and will definitely be purchasing a again. Thanks everyone!!

This product is amazing and I just love the smell. I have used it constantly and eveyrone in the house just love the smell and I found that with my kids coughing at night, I sprayed a little bit into their room and it seem to clear away the coughing. Amazing, I definately would buy more when this runs out. I had no idea it exsisted before but now I am telling everyone about it

Awesome reviews. I couldn't help myself and had to buy some to try it out and while at first I thought it was a bit pricey, I can totally see why! A little spray is all you need and it is divine! I've been spraying my childrens bedrooms at night before bed and they have both said that they are breathing easier through the night (have had colds for weeks now!) and their rooms smell fresh and clean. It's brilliant in the bathroom - such a clean smell and I'm totally in love with it! Thanks for introducing this to me, will definitely recommend to all my friends. :)

Oh my love just keeps growing lol originally the price put me off but every day I am amazed at what I am finding myself using the spray for! My partner splashed cooking oil on his light grey top last night so off it come, sprayed away as per instructions and put in the wash and once it dried today, not a single mark on it! Awesome!!! Definitely would recommend this to people for so many reasons. Thank you for introducing me to it!!

amyr - 12:43 PM on Tue-7-Aug-2012 reply | message
Wow this product is great. We have all had colds over the past week so a spray or two in the bedrooms at night has helped as all to sleep which is great. I have also been all over the house and sprayed the door handles to stop the spread of germs. I also sprayed some over our keyboard as I dont think it has ever been cleaned just a nice feeling to know everything is sanitised and healthy. I also used the spray on the kids table that they eat at and it cleaned it up so well and now I know they are safe eating from it even if something drops on the table. Another use I found for the spray was down the waste disposal system it was really getting smelly so a few sprays down they and its all fresh again!

It seems like the can would last a long time as you don't use much each time so for the cost its great value. Would highly recommend this product! 10/10.
IceKiwi - 9:43 PM on Mon-6-Aug-2012 reply | message
Well this product has been helping me at night the past two weeks. I have been so fortunate it came at the right time. With coughs (croup/asthma), pneumonia, blocked noses I used the spray in each of my little ones rooms at night as well as my room what a difference everyone slept so much better less stirring and definitely a reduced amount of coughing throughout the night. This mummy has been getting a bit more sleep!
Because of winter illnesses I have trialled this product on key areas main doors, bathroom, kitchen and the computer keyboard! I am really enjoying using this product the initial smell is very stron but it lessens quite quickly when you use it for cleaning and lingers perfectly when its used as a spray in the rooms. I definitely recommend it especially if you have a family that gets hit with bugs or have a child with severe allergies I find this amazing for my son and he wakes up less irritated each night I use this.
I had the chance to use it on my daughter as she got covered in mosquito bites she was itching furiously so I grabbed it and sprayed without wiping it in, this product worked she stopped scratching and the bites went away quicker.
I still have to trial it for getting stains out but have a little girls make up disaster to test it so will post results once its done. (waiting for rain to stop)
Hadn't thought about using it in the car so thanks wendylouise i'll try that next.

This product values around $19.99. It lasts a long time and because of its multiple uses is definitely value for money. I don't know many other hmm if any other products that can do everything this one can.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to trial Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Spray.
This will definitely be a product I keep on hand in our household from now on.

New favourite thing it does... Gets the gum of your hands from firewood just by spraying and wiping! No scrubbing, Yay :)

Love this product. Have used it around the kitchen and bathroom surfaces and the dog areas and it's great. Love how clean everything smells when we use it, and love that it can shift the sticky and dried food, sauces etc. around the kitchen.
Going to try the mattresses as we're about to recarpet so it will be nice to completely freshen all of the rooms.
ChristineC - 12:14 PM on Mon-6-Aug-2012 reply | message
Wow i love this stuff. When i put our name down i thought it was just a surface or room spray, but it has so many more uses ie stain removal, on skin for bites etc wow! We used it in our family room because we have been getting 1 cold after another in our house and it smells wonderful. I sprayed the sofa, toys, remotes, phone and anything else we come into a lot of contact with. I repeated every couple of days for a week or so and i am glad to say i think we have managed the get rid of the bugs in the house. I have also used it in the bathrooms as a freshen up between cleans. Also for the rubish bins that were staring to smell a bit.
All in all this product is fantasic, i am going to make sure we always have some of this in the house 10/10

What an awesome product! I can't believe how versatile it is. First I used on the bin and it really helped with the odours. The bathroom has been tested, toilet door handles and bench. Just waiting to try on mattresses. Love this product. Thank you for this trial :)

thankyou for picking us to review this product... I Love it!!! we have just had a month of sickness in our home from man flu (haha) to croup. i went around and sprayed everything that we touch as well as in the car :), benches, toilet mattresses high chair etc. the smell is a lil strong as first but much better scent than oust which is what we were using. am trying in today on a couple tops with stains so hopfully that goes well. still have a lot in can as well so even tho it a bit more expensive than other brands (OUST etc) it is well worth the price. Off to but another can today for in the cupboard :)

AMAZING! I am so pleased I got to try Bosisto's Eucalyptus Spray, it is my new most favourite thing. I don't know how I lived without it, or how I could now.. we used it on ourselves (great for the teens pimples, ear piercings, any injuries), the carpet and furnishings (love the fresh smell, it removes odour and doesn't chemically mask it), everywhere for antibacterial use, on the very old dog who is getting a bit leaky, stinky and has growths, in the laundry on stains and yukky dog bedding washing (it removed all the stench and stains and I am confident, the germs too) and on pretty much every visitor! It is so useful it's incredible, and I have been using other products but gag on their chemicals and overwhelming fragrances - I will only use this from now on, and intend on getting the spray for in the house and liquid for the laundry. Love it!!! Bosisto's you have another big fan!
JacqIAm - 8:21 PM on Sun-5-Aug-2012 reply | message
I have been using Bosisto's Eucalyptus oil for years in my washing, so I was excited to trial the spray.

My son pointed out I should spray the dog's bed first, sadly the dog didn't appreciate this and that night he ripped his bed up, so it must be too strong for him to cope with.

Master six had his 6th birthday party on Friday arvo so once all his friends left I sprayed all the lego in it's storage box, infact I kinda went nuts in their room, but boy did their room smell amazing.

My favourite success story is that we have some random ants that keep appearing through the front door, I sprayed the trail HAHAHA they have not returned

I'm one happy mum :-)

LOVE IT! and have already bought another can from my pharmacy for when i run out :)

IN the laundry i have one piece of ADVICE - USE IN WELL VENTILATED AREA :)

I have already taken it to playcentre to show off and reccommend for purchase :P

Never knew this product before and now do I'm hooked. Got rid of a nasty smell in the kitchen, leaves a fresh scent in the fair for hours. I was so wrapped when it got off all the tar stains on our car. It's a miracle can that can do almost anything.

I have used Bosisto's Eucalyptus Spray for a few days now and still think it is wonderful. All the mattresses have been sprayed when I changed the sheets and even the cat went and snuggled down 5mins after I had sprayed his bedding with no effects even though I thought the smell was quite strong, but he didn't seem to mind. I will certainly recommend this product to my friends and relatives.

Awesome product... used it on the beds under the pillows & even on itchy bites! kitchen dustbin and carpets in the bedroom .. Love the product and the informative leaflet. Heaps more than what i thought it could be used for... amazing... This is something I will definately carry around when on trips and keep at home! the smell brings back memories of my childhood. My daughter & I loved the smell. my hubby & son said that it was too strong.. :) like father like son :) or maybe I just went overboard and sprayed so many surfaces the smell was strong.. Using it sparingly now as I love the product.

Awesome product..Will definately recommend it to other mums.

As soon as this arrived I sprayed all the door handles (as everyone has had colds and flu for the past few weeks. Its so easy to use I just sprayed, no need to wipe and no drips! It does smell quite strong, but its that vicks smell that clears the sinuses. It is also awesome to remove sticky residue off plastic, and it doesnt discolour like meths can.

I think this is a great product and I'm keeping the leaflet that accompanied the can, because it has just so many different uses, which Im sure I'll use in the future.

Absolutely fantastic! I have been so impressed with this product, does exactly what it says and leaves the house smelling clean and fresh. Very impressed with how far it goes and for so many uses, great from a quick spray in the toilet to cleaning the kitchen benches. Used it in the rubbish bin and it made a huge different to the "bin smell". Certainly will be a product I would recommend and purchase in the future. Thanks for the opportunity to try this, really impressed.

Awesome timing for this to turn up on my doorstep :) We have had the tummy bug and flu going through the house recently and Bosisto's Eucalyptus Spray has been awesome! Lacking the energy to do 'real' cleaning the spray has eased my mind as I have been able to just spray the essential areas and know not only are they germ free but it smells clean and fresh too. Very refreshing! Though a little does go a long way. I love the idea of a natural product and that this one is so versatile. Scares me to think of all the chemicals my wee one is around already so love having this in my home and the fact that one product can do so much. My next trial with it will be with the carpet and washing.... Oh also worked wonders on my 'To Do' whiteboard with all the marks I have been struggling to wipe of complelely.

I got this product and was amazed at all it can do. I have used it to clean my toilet, spray after a particularly bad nappy episode and both worked really well. I sprayed my kitchen bin with it as it was getting pretty nasty and not only did it clean it well but it also hasn't smelled bad since. I am very keen for a nice day so I can try spraying my mattresses with it as it says it kills dust mites which would be great. The other thing I am still to try is stains in the washing. I have used eucalyptus oil in the past to get out greasy stains and chewing gum off clothes but the spray would be so much easier. Still waiting for a greasy stain though (who would have thought). I thought the price was alot but the way it lasts it is worth it.

Finally a product that does what it says it will do!! We have a busy full on household with 3 kids, 2 puppies and a couple of cats! And I am a clean freak!! This product can do the whole house. After having sick kids recently, I started off in their room by airing out mattress etc, then gave them a spray, wow, smelt great and finished of the job by killing germs and deodorizing! Did I mention my kids have asthma? This product did not affect their asthma or skin allergies at all!! Also used it on the carpet to freshen and was surprised to see it remove old pen stains!! I used this product right throughout the house, including pet bedding. For once not only did I know the house was clean, it also smelt great and was germ free with so little effort. I thought that I would use up the whole can in one clean, but no, there is still loads left which also means it is cost effective ( which I also look for in cleaning products). But wait, there is more!! My eldest child had a concrete graze after competing in the cross country. She couldn't handle any cream being applied, but after convincing her that it wasn't only a cleaning product, I sprayed her leg with it, which she said felt good and didn't sting and she is usually a preformer!!! This product exceeded all my expectations, and its not often I find that! It is a great product, that does what it says it does and more! Most impressed. Once again, thanks!!

I received the spray yesterday and was immediately inspired to do a little cleaning :) Firstly, the scent is delicious - nice and fresh smelling with a very natural Eucalyptus oil that's not "artificial". I cleaned the kids toys which came up great (I was a little shocked at how much they needed it but I often don't think to clean them) and sprayed the childrens rooms as they both have colds at the moment. I definitely noticed that the scent lingers for a while and you only need a little bit of spray which makes it much better value for money too. I gave the bathroom a once over and not only did it smell fresh and inviting, the surfaces came up a treat and didn't leave any residue. I'm going to go through the house tonight and clean the phones and door handles too - I hadn't thought of this before but it makes sense, especially at this time of year where everyone is sneezing and then touching things in the house. Definitely a thumbs up from our family - really love it. I hadn't heard of this one before so feel like I've stumbled across a miracle spray! Would not hesitate to recommend to friends (and I certainly will be) and will certainly purchase more when I run out. Thanks for introducing a great product Kidspot!

What a superb product and a little spray does go a long way. I've sprayed around the house especially the bathrooms and kitchen. My husband got scratched by the cat tonight and he instantly grabbed the can of Bosisto's Eucalyptus Spray to spray his hand. So he is also hooked. I'm sure my friends will be interested to hear about this little spray as I had never heard of it before. A grandchild who was over today had a bad cough so I sprayed the air around her. I must spray the bedding when I change the sheets to kill any germs. It is lovely to find a product which I have never used and certainly will buy again. Very impressed.

A-MA-ZING!!!!! I have been totally blown away with this product and actually enjoyed cleaning my house over the weekend. First up I used it to clean the table and chairs and all the stuck on food that usually needs scraping off just wiped right off - even the stuff underneath the table that had been there alot longer than it should have. On Saturday my darling teenage son had the fabulous idea of having a BBQ and then had an even more fabulous idea of cleaning the bbq plates in the kitchen sink - it was a mess of grease and griime that wouldn't budge so I gave it a spray with my fabulous new spray and all the grime just wiped right off. It smells devine, not too overpowering. I have even used it to clean the toilet and bathroom and they both still have a lovely lingering smell 2 days later and no toilet odours. The pamphlet that came with it had some amazing ideas as did the can itself but I recommend you head to the website for so many ideas on how to use this versatile product.

I am converted. I love the smell it leaves, and the uses!! Where do i start? The phamplet has alot of idea, but you go onto the website and there is soo much more!
Everything smells soo fresh and clean, and the smell lingers too-which is good.
From the kitchen, to the bathroom, to table tops, change table!! The uses are litterally endless!
We are all sniffley and snivelly, so the smell is quite refreshing.
Very impressed!! Thanks for letting us trial it!

Wow, I didn't realise this spray could be used for so many different things. Anything from toilets and bathrooms to minor cuts and abrasions.
I love the smell, it makes everything smell really clean and fresh. I have been using it under the rubbish bin lid so we get a fresh smell everytime it opens.
A little bit sure does go a long way which is good because at a RRP of $17.99 it is a bit more expensive than any other types of spray I have used, but I think it is worth the cost because it so versatile. A very handy spray to have and I can see it being a regular purchase for our family.

If it’s possible to fall in love with a product then I’m in love with this eucalyptus oil spray. In fact, I got quite over-excited and sprayed pretty much the whole house and everything in it. The list of uses for this seems endless. I’ve been a huge fan of Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil for ages. I’ve always used it in the laundry. It removes stains, including almost impossible to remove stains such as ballpoint pen, oil and grease on clothes, furniture and carpet and it’s brilliant for softening and freshening woollens. I’ve also used it for removing sticky marks left by labels and to remove chewing gum. But I’d found that the little bottle never lasted long. This spray solves that problem completely. It’s incredibly economical to use because a little goes a VERY long way (the tiniest spray is enough). According to the can it will last over 1000 sprays. I love that it kills 99.99% of germs, eliminates odours instantly and freshens the air. It makes everything smell super-clean and fresh and I feel like I can breathe more easily. I also love that it kills dustmites, which is why I’ve sprayed our mattresses, pillows, woollen blankets, duvets and soft toys (I sprayed them and then aired them outside, apart from the mattresses). I used it around the dog areas too and it’s so nice to get rid of the smell of wet dog. I’ll add it to bathwater for my children, myself and even the dogs. When my children are sick I plan on spraying it in their bedrooms to disinfect and make breathing easier. I’ve sprayed it in the bath, shower and basins to clean and disinfect. I will use it for muscular aches and pains and insect bites. I’m going to replace the air freshener in the toilet with this because as well as eliminating odours it disinfects AND is a natural product that doesn’t contain anything synthetic, so in my opinion it’s vastly superior to any air freshener on the market (it goes without saying that I’ve already sprayed the toilet, etc.) I’ve used it to clean and freshen the rubbish bins. I used it in smelly footwear to freshen and kill germs and prevent Athlete’s Foot. I’ve sprayed it in our wardrobes and cupboards to freshen them up. I used this in my daughter's school/kindy bags. I used it to clean and disinfect the telephones, door handles and light switches throughout the house. Using this, baking soda and vinegar I can pretty much get rid of all other synthetic/chemical cleaning/disinfecting products, which makes me very excited. I recommend it extremely highly and will be sure to always have at least one can of it in the house.

What a versatile product. I have used it as an air freshener in the toilet (a little goes a long way). My 2 year old had a wee accident in her carseat and lazy me sprayed the seat and the car smelt fresh and I knew the germs were killed too. I didn't have any luck with it as a pre-treater in the laundry but I only tried it on old stains but the washing had a lovely smell. I have used it to clean high chairs and our formica table.

The smell is very strong so if you love eucalyptus you'll love this. It is certainly nicer than some of those fruity, summer fresh air fresheners out there. I like the idea of spraying it in the room to help with breathing. Thankfully our colds have disappeared at the moment but I'll be sure to try it when they inevitably return.

I will be keeping some in the cupboard.

I am so impressed with the wide range of stuff that this spray is good for! Its incredible! I had a read of the leaflet and my first thought was my kids beds as it says it kills dustmites. My son is a chronic asthmatic and immediatly stripped his bed so I could spray his mattress, pillows and duvet inner. He has actually had a couple of better nights sleep from his asthma not being as bad so I think it has helped. Today's mission is the highchairs - they are both getting a good spray as it the toybox! There is so many things I want to try with this stuff! I doubt my house will ever be without this spray again! Thanks so much for the opportunity to try this product!

Brilliant!! Got my Bosisto's Eucalyptus Spray yesterday and immediately sprayed all through the house. I had a slightly blocked nose and it cleared up. After reading all that you can do with it, I'm even more impressed with it. The kids love the smell and it doesn't hurt when I use it on the kids grazes. Great product, love it. Definitely going to recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you for choosing me to trial it. I will be buying it again!

Received The Spray yesterday, and I must say I was really impressed with how many things you can do with it, My girls and partner have always hated the smell of some of the bleach sprays but I just always wanted to be sure that most the germs were killed, I actually found the smell quite pleasant and my girls agreed that it was much better than what I was previously using. My friend and I are actually thinking it would work quite well when the wee ones have colds to unblock their noses a bit, just spraying a little under the bed at night. I saw that it is only available at selected pharmacy's I hope they bring it on into the supermarkets, it just makes it easier to buy. Overall I like the fact that that it can replace so many products in the household and that it is a nice natural smell.

I have used the spray to clean up my kitchen benches and in the bathroom, it is easy to use and does a great job, making you feel like everything is clean and free of germs. It would work great on areas that are difficult to get into with a cloth as its in a spray form. It does however have a very strong smell, I found that I had to ventilate the room cleaned well and leave the room for an hour or so before returning to it as the odour was overpowering. I don't think I would want to use it with children around to breathe in the fumes and wouldn't use directly onto skin as suggested on the can.

Got mine yesterday morning catrad. I've already started using it and I can say it's working wonders -- great as antibac spray (my daughter has had colds and I sprayed on her room and the family room), deodorant (used it on my son's stinky soccer shoes last night and they smell good this morning). Only catch is that the Eucalyptus smell is too strong initially. When spraying the rooms, I had to keep the doors open 'cause I got a headache when I left them closed. Otherwise, it really does smell good.

WOuld also love to use this in our lounge to make sure everything is clean, and pet-germ free. Does it really work on toilet seats?!

I think I'll start with what wouldn't I use it on in my home :-) Sounds like another fantastic natural product from Bosistos! I'd probably use it the most in the toilet (messy 5yr old who misses frequently) definitely on the highchair ( seat/back and tray), Rubbish bin cupboard door/handle and kids earring table/chairs. It seems like a product that you would want to use in every room, esp with 3 young kids who are forever touching/handling and dribbling on everything in sight! Oh and my 2 year olds car seat!!
madisonsmummyz - 9:20 PM on Sat-14-Jul-2012 reply | message
I would love a natural spray like this to use on the door handles, tv remote, laptop and desktop computer mouses, telephones and believe it or not, even the car steering wheel. Basically everything that gets touched all the time by unwashed hands!. Currently I use dettol spray but it is chemicals so this would be perfect! Lately we've had the flu in our house and multiple times a day I was spraying down the computer mouses and tv remote so I wouldn't catch it from my family by touching what they'd touched with their germy hands. Would have felt much better if I wasn't exposing my family to the chemicals and if I had known about this spray earlier I would have tried to source it!

I'd love to find a decent product that doesn't appear to increase the grime... or just coat it in a sickly sweet smell... something that truly does sanitise and I truly appreciate the use of plants and herbs applied to household uses, I will always buy enviro friendly over harsh chemicals.. Please pick my rubbish bin! :-)

Anything to prevent chemicals used around my asthmatic daughter is always a bonus, especially on her toys, room, and general areas she is in frequently.

I would love to try this spray! I'm on a quest to find the best natural products for my cleaning, because I worry about how chemicals affect the health and wellbeing of my family and pets. I'd love to use this to clean and deodorise everywhere, particularly the school/kindy bags, bins and dog areas that are all quite stinky! I already use Bosisto's eucalyptus oil that comes in a small bottle in my laundry, especially for woollens and I use it mixed with water for cleaning areas around the house, but the bottle doesn't last very long at all so I'd love to see how much longer the spray will last before it runs out (I'd imagine it would be very economical). I love the idea of disinfecting rooms and things quickly and easily. My 3-year-old has just started kindy so is picking up all of the bugs going around and all three of us have been plagued with cold and flu viruses this winter so I'd also use it as a room spray to kill bugs and germs and help make breathing easier.

So many reasons .... we have bubs due in 6 weeks and would be well used. We clean the toys everytime we rotate little Miss toys (and bubs soon too). We have to be EXTRA vigillant with bugs and germs at our house and my parents house now as we have someone in hospital and we need to keep bugs and germs away. so have to be extra through.

Little Iz has asthma so I have to be so careful with some of the harsher chemical sprays. both of my girls had stomach bugs in the past month and I would like to use this spray in their bedrooms to kill any bugs on their toys or furniture.

I don't even know where to start on this one, I didn't even know there was such a product, for years now I've wanted to find something to kill all those germs around the house but I hate all the harsh chemical treatments available. I think they do more harm than good. My skin reacts to most of the cleaners now with the antibacterial stuff in it so I can't put it anywhere my hands would touch. So I would love to trial this and I would use it on the door handles and also the stairwell where people hold on to to go up and down. I'm sure thats covered in nasty germs and I reckon this product would work really well on that. I feel relieved just knowing of such a product. Thank you for doing this kind of thing and letting people not just learn about a product but to get to test it also, is wonderful. Thank you.

Having something like this would be fantastic, using it in the air and on surfaces to kill germs and also would be able to use it to help clear blcoked nasal passages. A product that has multi uses!!!!! Wow I would love to try, just what my household needs.

My son had an asthma attack at the weekend and my youngest croup so I really can't afford to have any more illness in my home, this sounds like a worth while investment.

My husband came out of hospital last week after fracturing a vertebrea in his spine. They wanted him out early because of all the respiratory bugs going around the hospital! Unfortunately, not soon enough as he brought home a nasty flu which I have also caught and although my kids are fine at the moment I am worried that they will get it - expecially with the school holidays on now and them being around home much more. This Bosisto's Eucalyptus spray seems just the thing to spray around - keyboards, phones, door handles etc. so that these bugs don't spread any further. I would love to trial this before the whole family comes down with it!

I would love to use Bosisto's Eucalyptus Spray on the door handles and window catches over winter to stop the children's coughs and sneezes transferring onto the other child when they touch the handles. I like the idea of Bosisto's having no harsh chemicals and would be interested to see if the smell is pretty strong. This would be wonderful to have in a Doctor's surgery to disinfect all the toys children play with. Maybe we could have a spray in our handbag to use in these situations!

FREAKED me right out to see them scuttling across the window sill and bench so I would love to use this product to "germ-fight" the areas where they have had their little feet!

Having 2 young children, constantly cleaning up after them can be a mission. As a family we like things to be fresh and clean, knowing that the germs are eliminated without worrying about the effects of chemicals. Recently finding out Im pregnant with child number 3, it is especially important to ensure I am dealing with hygenic surfaces, and the smell of Eucalyptus doesnt seem to affect my super sensitive nose at the moment. I would use the spray for a variety of things, lunchboxes, benches, highchair, door handles, anything that just needs that extra clean feeling and freshening up. Also would be helpful for the flu season, which seems to be rearing up, along with many other daycare bugs at the moment.

I am an Australian who has lived in NZ for 40 odd years. I was brought up on Eucalyptus oil (as we lived in Outback (well Back of Burke) it was mainly home-made - leaves steeped in boiling water. Mum used it for everything. When my own children were younger I found it a valuable product to keep in the medicine/laundry cupboard. I can remember an experience my 4 year old had with a biro - and can guarantee that it cleans biro from skin, wallpaper, carpet and hair. To have this wonderful product available in spray form is indeed a cleaning miracle. I would use it for everything on your list and then some....It would also be used to introduce my daughter-in-law to it's many uses.

Sounds great for any one with both kids and pets. Would be interested to see whether the Eucalyptus would deter pests from the rubbish bags

I would love to use this in the bathroom, on handles, toilet seat and taps, bedrooms on handles and mattresses. To be honest I would try it everywhere I can. Would love to give this a go!

This sounds fantastic - would be great for just about anything in our house by the sounds of it. I would use it for toys/ door handles/ rubbish bins the most probably. I wonder if you could spray it in the air of bedrooms when kids are sick to help with their breathing etc? I would like to give that a try.

This sounds great! So many uses in one spray. I'd like to give the kids toys a spray over at the moment, with all the coughing and sneezing it would be a great way to help keep them clean. I like the smell of Eucalyptus anyway so it would just be a nice refreshing smell in the house over winter while keeping everything clean at the same time. Please choose us to trial this spray!!! :)
