Hi :)

Im almost 5 weeks and I had my first Dr visit today and she recommended I get my midwife sorted asap but I don't even know where to start.

My friend recommended based on what I want to do for the birth but I have no idea at this stage.

Any tips on where to start?

From my experience, I would recommend that you phone around midwives in your area to find one that is available then meet up with them to see how you click.

For both of my pregnancies I had trouble finding one that was available. Thankfully I clicked with both of them
