Wow!  I've just finished reading the Fifty Shades trilogy...  Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed.  Have you read these books yet?  What did you think?

I'm halfway through the 2nd book and to be honest I am wondering what the fuss is about! I now own the triology so will be reading the series and are intrigued enough to find out what happens but it's taking me a bit of getting into. I find her character quite week and I think that is my problem with it.
Curious to find out what others think though!

I have just read the first one, and honestly I don't know what the hype is about, i'm not against erotica books but I though the story line a bit weak and the writing not great. Don't think ill read the next two.

I loved it.  Loved the whole series.  Found it a great escape from daily life and I loved the playfullness of their emails to each other.  Totally entertained, a great read.

Im just waiting to finish another set of books first, but all my friends have read them and love them, and even my mother inlaw has read them and really loved them although i didn't want to go into too much detail with her with the sex topic, as im with her son and that would just be weird lol
but looking forward to reading all 3

I have read all 3. It is addictive trashy reading. I have the first one if anyone wants to borrow it. A couple of Kidspotters have already have borrowed it. It was interesting to see the interview on TV with E.L.James this week. For someone that wrote it she is embarrassed talking about it.

I've read the trilogy and while they are easy to read I have to agree with a friend of mine in that they are car crash books - your not sure if you should continue reading but you do anyway.
In my opinion they are a little weak as far as erotica books go, after the first few scenes you just think 'oh yeah they are having sex again'I think all of the hype is because all of a sudden erotica is sitting on the main shelves and being read in public instead of being hidden away and no one admitting to reading it

I'm half way thru the third book and really enjoying the series, the third one seems to share more characters storys instead of just sex.would recommend them, they are hard to stop reading although the sex is a little repetitive!!

I am half way thru the first book and I only brought because everyone talking about.  I hate the way she repeats her thoughts all the way thru its like reading the same sentances over and over again.  I am enjoying the book but fed up with all the bla bla bla just do it already and stop over thinking lol

Haven't read them, i no doubt won't either. In fact I haven't read a book for at least 5 years now, I don't seem to find the time between running my business, various committee meeting and the typical house chores!! I'll catch up when I retire!!
