I'm embarrassed to admit this - but yesterday I turned my load of washing pink by leaving a new red scarf in the load :( I'm so gutted! (So is hubby as one of his favourite work shirts is now pink, along with my two little boys' undies, socks, PJs etc LOL) As soon as I realised I googled what to do and all the advice said the same - before it dries put everything back in the machine for a hot wash, with a bit of bleach (I used Sard Wonder power) and set it for an extra rinse. But it hasn't made a scrap of difference so now I'm wondering if anyone on Kidspot has any different suggestions??

What color are they? If they are fully white you could just soak them in bleach and water, never happened to me so I don't know for sure about this but I have done this to brighten white from baby vomit!! Of you do find a fix I would love to know.

Unfortunately none of the items are completely white, they all have colour in them so I can't use a chlorine bleach either :(

You can buy a "run remover" product from the supermarket but I don't know how effective they are?

Mr17 came home from staying at his brothers house the other week and 2 of his white tops are now a baby blue colour :P! I may have to try the run remover Julie, but would love to hear any other suggestions too!

I need to know the fix for this too - I have several pinkish things that are meant to be white!
