Hey all,
I'm brand new here and signed up in hopes of finding someone else who has gone through pregnancy with endometriosis!
Currently in my 23rd week and suddenly suffering some familiar pain that I haven't had since everything started healing after my op. I think its scar tissue rubbing as everything moves as it only really hurts with pressure or if I move.
Has anyone else had a similiar experience?
All advice very much appreciated!!!

its all good Tadtic. I ended up in the hospital as it got so bad, i think they were all more concerned of prem birth though. in the end no one could give me a conclusion for the pain and all were quite surprised i managed to get pregnant naturally after "claiming" to have had endo
i'm fairly confident it was just scar tissue rubbing, after all who knows my body better than myself :)

I've had 5 operations for endo, and now 5 babies. The last pregnancy I had pain from endo right from about week 8. The doctor said it was because scar tissue had tethered my uterus and as it expanded that made it tug. There wasn't really anything that could be done. If you get desperate codeine is moderately safe in pregnancy - but it never helped me. It does pass through the placenta, but they don't think it really does any harm to the baby.
So there are not many good options to manage pain I'm afraid. Hot showers sometimes helped a little, and wheat bags. My last two pregnancies ended up in prem babies - 35 and 34 weeks respectively with 'niggles' from around 26 weeks in each case, and a total of 6 weeks hospitalisation. I don't know if it was because of or related to my issues with endo in any way... I just know that I'm pleased to know i'm finished having babies and will book in for a hysterectomy this summer.
Good luck! You're not alone. Thankfully, pregnancy doesn't last forever, and the results are worthwhile.

HI,  I have had 3 operations for Endo and the scar tissue that goes with it. I now have 2 darling girls.  I found wheat bags and hot showers helped as well.  what does your midwife say? Could you also speak to your doctor who did your surgery he/she maybe able to give you some reassurance
