The Weather Man

This is my gripe of the day. Why, with all the advances in technology can't we get an accurate weather forecast. Yesterday the forecast said it was going to rain all day. There wasn't a drop of rain and my dryer worked constantly since I didn't think it would be worth hanging out the washing.Today the forecast is for sunshine so I hung all the washing out even though I didn't have time. I am looking out at the dark clouds thinking I've been fooled again.it is almost like the weather forecasters are drawing their predictions from a hat.

i've read a few theory's about weather forecasts, certain forecasters exaggerate because it reduces strain on services in the area for example. we check weather forecasts regularly and cross reference them because we do a lot of outdoor activities so it didn't take us long to work out that some are more accurate than others.

I think you could be right there. Weather forecaster are one of the least trusted professions. We often have 4 seasons in one day here in Hamilton too.

Either that or there's an unhappy forecaster who is getting his/her jollies from deliberately giving inacurate forecasts... mind you, I live in Auckland...4 seasons in 1 day!lol
