celebration time

My baby is about to turn one!

It's amazing to think that a whole year has passed, so much has happened since she was born - having a baby really is a life changing event. Mostly it has changed for the better, I think we are more understanding people once we have children and although I miss a few things I used to do before baby days it is wonderful being a mum and I wouldn't change it for anything.

I'm planning a party for her but really it is more for me, it's a great chance to sit back and think how marvelously well we've done and how cute she is alt I will be having a wine (or two) and taking loads of photos so she can look back, also considering this may be the last party when I get to choose what I want I'm making it gorgeous with no dora explorers or lalaloopsys to be seen.

How exciting!! turning one really is a big milestone, esp as a parent, celebrating one year of parenting!!!
My youngest is turning 5 in a few weeks. She has BIG plans for her party! she too has the warehouse catalogue and is 'choosing' what she wants :P
Have a great time!!!

The 1st birthday is such a milestone!!!
My little Miss is turning 3 next week and I am in party planning mode too. She has finally realised that she can choose her cake and she has been telling me she wants 'xmas' presents for her birthday :). although at the moment she has a warehouse catalogue in her hand on the Dora explora page. I enjoy this age as they are so easy to please. As they get older it gets harder and more expensive :P!

Congratulations to your wee girl and well done to you too mum, it's such a milestone! We're celebrating next week, with my little Mr turning 1 as well, I love party planning! His older brother is turning 4 later this year, so I won't get much say in his party theme but like you am making the most of this party while I still can :) Enjoy it!!

No means no!
No means no. It's a message that we revisit over and over again as parents. But as kids grow up, they need to find confidence in using the word themselves and be receptive to being told no from someone other than their parents. Find out more...
