Since my daughters first birthday she has suddenly turned into a little girl, she seems to have grown up overnight!

Isn't it just amazing how fast they develop, she's now walking around everything and the whole house is her playground, she is a climber and gets in and out of the bath, over the couch and in the dryer!!!!!!!!! Yes you read that right, she got IN the dryer! Looking back over the last year in videos leaves me feeling amazed at how much she's grown up and changed. Also leaves me feel very clucky... a feeling I'm going to ignore..... for awhile....

It seems like I blink and she's doing something different, bit of a lesson in here for me to slow down and smell the roses and enjoy her while she is small.

So true, blink and they grow more! I too find myself wanting another... something I thought we had decided against and I was ok with...but the feeling just keeps coming back! :( I totally agree, I too need to really take time to slow down and enjoy the kids while they are still kids. It's easy to get caught in daily stuff and "problems" but looking back now when they were babies, what seemed like a big problem then seems like wasted time and unnecessary stress now!

I've finally realised I need to treasure the time I have with her instead of worrying life away cleaning and stressing about her sleeping and eating habits. They truly grow so quickly. I think I'm a bit like you SarahK, I've always adored the little snuggly new babies but when I had my own one instead of enjoying it I found it incredibly stressful, life is so much easier now she is older.

They grow so quickly don't they!! I even notice it with the care kids I look after. I look after two one year olds and in the last few weeks they have gone from being babies to rather mobile little people! sooo cute. I think my favourite age is between one and two. They change soo much during that year, and are super cute!

I was thinking the same thing about my 3 year old as a month or 2 before her birthday she turned from a tearaway toddler into a much calmer pre-schooler.She still has her moments but it's a relief that stage is over as she was all over the place. Enjoy your baby as they do grow up so fast and I have a almost 21yr old to prove it :P!
