Hi All, I no idea why I am sharing this but thought it was too funny not to share. So this weekend we went out for a game of MiniGolf at Treasure Island (by the airport), now I was first gutted to realise I didnt have my camera as my daughter had her pony friends so would have made a great photo for the comp, playing mimigolf in the rain complete with weather gears and my daughter showing pony how to putt. LOL.
Anyway I ended up being greatful there was no camera because on the course after the boat there is one where there is a hole to get around or your ball goes in and goes into the water.
My daughter decided to throw her ball into the hole with that hubby said quick stop the ball and without a thought I jump onto the concrete slab to stop it, now normally there is water there so I would not have done this but yesterday there was no water so i just jumped on in to rescue her ball. It was all sluggy (which I didnt think about) so my feet went out from under me and I ended up in the ditch, winded and very sore. So I lay there for at least a minute getting more wet feeling very silly and OUCH. Which would have been a perfect photo op and the funny thing was I had pony and her MLP bag too all of us just laying there in the ditch. My hubby and sister helped me up, once I recovered - could breath.
I felt like i had wet my pants and apparently it looked like that. Hubby said he was going to say I had such a good time at Mini Golf I wet myself. The funny thing was two courses later they started the water up, so we had another good laugh as it could have been worse I could have been laying there and the water could have come and completly soaked me.
The good thing is although it was embarassing no one saw it as the course was so quiet cause of the rain and the Butterfly Creek train that goes around (which could of seen) came 2 mins after I was out of the ditch. So I have no idea why I am sharing... all in all was a funny time at golf, although not one I wish to repeat especially since I have really hurt my hand... and its the one I use all the time.
