Topic : Cops pounce on Disabled man after misunderstanding!
mumof6 - `10` `2012-06-27 08:34:02`

I would of thought since ACC have been dealing with this man since 1999, they would know he has a speach impairment and would make sure they have listened correctly before jumping to conclusions.

After all the goings on with ACC lately I don't have a very high opinion of them anyway and this is just another blunder on their part.

Ridiculous! That poor man, like he hasn't been through enough! And why won't they let him meet with his case worker even now, when the charges have been dropped and it was CLEARLY a misunderstanding?!

ACC... just making friends everywhere!
How hard would it have been to say "I'm sorry sir but can you please repeat that? You're going to come and what?"Stupid!!!

Oh this is just stupid!!! Talk about over-reaction!!

Im not that fond of ACC either. They clearly only see people as numbers. Even the case workers. My friend fell 4 storys whist abseiling at work at the beginning of feb. You may remember it from the news. She was lucky to survive. She broke ALOT of bones. The second they took the last cast off, ACC have been harrassing her to get back to work. She is currently on a waiting list for a shoulder reconstruction too.
