Its amazing what you can decorate your cupcakes with. I just had a quick google search for some ideas for the SPCA cupcake day, and wow there are some awesome ideas out there! but some of them don't look that easy!

Share your decorating tips here. What is your favourite way to decorate your cupcakes?

Yeap you can get the hundreds of thousands or sit there cutting up marshmallows & jelly lollies etc, or crystalising edible flowers but my kids find it just as much fun to splatter effect. You dip the cupcakes in a plain layer of white or brown icing. put them in a cardboard box (you can line it if you like with tinfoil) then let them splatter different coloured icing over the cupcakes. (the box is to protect your kitchen from all the splatter) LOL.
