Topic : SLEEP WALKING/SLEEP TALKING EQUALS NO SLEEP FOR THE REST OF US!!!
MumBum - `10` `2012-08-17 22:05:05`
I have only just seen this group and wouldn't you know it? It just so happens that our biggest boy,(8 years)sometimes wakes us all up with his wondering around the house, and nonsensical yakking about all manner of things from screaming "GET OFF THE BOOK!!! YOU ARE ON THE BOOK!!!" to "BUT I DIDN'T DO IT MUM!!!"... he is sound asleep through all this carry on, but by the time he has finished his little episodes and is back in bed, the rest of us are wide awake!!!I have been told he may grow out of the sleep walking, but I doubt he will grow out of sleep talking, because I still sleep talk!Just out of interest's sake, are there any Mums/Dads who have sleep walking/talking kids? And what did you find helped to keep the sleep walking/talking little monsters at bay? Please share! :-)

My son used to have really bad night terrors with screaming and yelling and violence, he now only sleep walks and sometimes I have to get up to him but most of the time I just listen to him walk around the house a couple of times then climb back to bed

I used to sleep walk and talk and don't anymore, I'm now sure when I grew out of it as I still did it in my teens, I remember the embarrasment sometimes of friends telling me what I had said/done during the night.... *blush*

Don't have any helpful words of wisdom though I'm sorry.
